Former police officer... former flying boat pilot... is there any job you haven't done, Richard? ;D
I have never been a waiter ... :)

I've never heard of the story so I googled it and found this illustration. :)

Thanks, Sylvia ...

I clicked on your pic and was so impressed with the story that I went to Amazon and ordered the Porco Rosso DVD ... :)

Thanks again and all the best,
Richard

I believe it may be based on Miyazaki's animated film "Porco Rosso"

Hello, Jim ...

Thank you. Thank you for showing us your marvelous custom seaplane and thank you for your really great rendition of my new hero, "Porco Rosso" ... :)

Yes, I just finished watching the DVD! Michael Keaton is absolutely perfect as the voice of "Porco Rosso" and the other characters are just as wonderful in this magnificent animated film!

The seaplanes, the story, the characters, the scenery ... Everything is academy award quality!

And, there are many more beautiful seaplanes to create (as well as some very interesting personalities)!

Thanks again, Jim, for introducing us to this splendid cinemagraphic work.

All the best,
Richard
