Title: Modifying RC buffer stop to work on LGB track
Post by: batrugger on February 01, 2023, 16:07:19
Since the old 4352 buffer stops for the brass LGB track are hard to find and expensive when I do, I got a 4391 buffer stop for the plastic RC track to see if I could modify it to work with the LGB track. It wasn’t too hard to do, basically two holes drilled, cut a groove, and it worked out pretty well. This was a rush job done with a big drill bit and a hacksaw blade so with proper tools it could be a lot cleaner, but once it’s put together, it’s not noticeable.

Yes, certainly nicely done and good use of the LGB track connector.

It is definitely needed. The rails are the same height as the plastic so they bump into the top edge. There was no other way I could figure out to secure the track
