Set #5224 question
« on: April 05, 2013, 07:59:08 »
Hi! Does anyone have the set #5224? Can you check for me if the part  30 24 0372 (yellow mast) can fit in the big holes at the ends of part 30 09 5950 (rectangular grass floor? I think this grass floor would be great to place banner for a tournament.
Thanks!

Not sure about the 5224, but the 4480 garden centre has a similar pole that fits into a grass strip

(there should be a pole at each end)
Hope this helps!

As Elaine said, the answer there is yes. You can also use the small grass pieces as we did with Marketon to allow the banners to hang at the ends of the wall.

Thanks Tim, I already have those, but I thought it might look better with the rectangular grass, two tall poles on the sides and four small inbetween. And I appreciate you used the picture of my knight for the example.  :)

Thanks guys, unfortunately this part is currently unavailable at the DS. Maybe I'll find some at a playmo convention some time soon
The picture Tim showed is from the wonderful Marketon tournament, that he and Martin Milner organised a few years back. You should look for this thread, and also for the Winterhaven tournament, by Gis.
Those tournaments involved knights from many of the members and was a great experience. I miss it, and often wish someone here would make another.
Best,
A.
