The trailer is a nice set. It comes with the tractor.
The animal trailer is fully functionable, so there are two separate cages for the animals and a door to enter the trailer from the back.
-
The ladder and the gangway can be stored in the small space under the cages' floor, even some additional tools will fit as well if you store all the stuff correctly.
The animal trainer is a classic, but this time his cap has got the letter Z instead of R for the Romani series.
He has a lot of accessories to keep the animals happy.
The monkey doesn't want to join the big cats in the cages and prefers to use the extra seat on the tractor.
-
The big deal are of course the big cats.
and guess what you can do with the two holes in one of the hay-beds.
Bird-eye view shows that the three cats fit in nicely.
-
Finally the set is put together and heading for the next town.
The trailer allows for a second trailer to be put behind it. (see red connector on the rear wall).
All in all, nothing really new, but a nice addition to the latest circus version.

Thanks for the review - I really like the hay beds...
I think I'll pass... since we have a few trailers... RESTRAINT, see everyone? I'm showing RESTRAINT!

Thank you for the review. Playmobil seem to have done a very good job with the animal trailer but the tractor looks a bit basic and "childish"; a better colour scheme would have helped here I think.

Thanks for the review and great pics!!!

Thanks for the review Simon. That's the most recent orange tiger version, they must be doing them all that way now.
-
the trainer's feet are classic (flat ones) too! 8-)
interesting review! :thanks:

I bet the tractor would look a lot better with just a change of the exhaust pipe color. It looks so dumb in blue. I want this trailer and actually 3 or 4 of them for our circus train. The new larger trailer does not fit on a train car and in the US these classic trailers are sold for premiums or they are all sun dried and broken
Thanks for the review

I may be able to get you the trailers if they have them (usually they do) in the Playmobil/Lechuza shop in Munich where I plan to go in about 4 weeks. Should I? The set is 30€ though and you'd have to add shipping costs.
What do you say, Ras?

I just always wonder if this set will make it to the US? If Geobra is making it again it says that the mold is still functional. I really do want to but I buy so much playmobil I try really hard to be frugal about my insanity.
In US $ each would be $40 + shipping ?? correct
I will check around and let you know , thank you for the offer that I may take
