Princess Academy
« on: April 22, 2020, 07:59:16 »
Good morning dear Friends

Has anyone seen this Princess Academy trailer yet :

Will there be a toy release associated with these series ?

La, tout n'est qu'ordre et beaute, luxe, calme et volupte. L'Invitation au Voyage. Charles Baudelaire.1857.

Thanks for pointing this out.

Barbie meets Hogwarts. Whilst many of the props look like PM, much of the scenery doesn't, which is a shame. And of course, the flexibility of the figures is most unlike PM.
At that moment the ship suddenly stopped rocking and swaying, the engine pitch settled down to a gentle hum. 'Hey Ford.' said Zaphod, 'that sounds good. Have you worked out the controls on this boat?' 'No,' said Ford, 'I just stopped fiddling with them.' (With thanks to Douglas Adams)

I assume this ties in with the re-design of the Princess line that comes out in September. I'm not sure if decent pictures are available anywhere, but its in the German catalogue online.

I only guessed this because I noticed it includes a bakers/Konditorie set which caught my eye, but like I say I haven't seen decent pictures. Other than that it looks to the the usual collection of furniture/horses etc in the usual selection of pinks and golds.....

Thanks for giving us the headsup!

Probably some parts with potential, right?

Thanks for the better quality picture Janilew!

I'm not sure there's much new - maybe some of the cakes and stuff? The oven would be fun but inevitably is pink and gold.

That said, based on the amount of them I see for sale on Gumtree/ebay, the Princess theme is pretty popular - I keep thinking about picking up one of the palace buildings second hand and giving it a spray paint

Isn't it the same as the santa bakery one?

I knew it looked familier! My first thought was the pizza oven, but then I checked and it was different. I didn't get the Santa set, maybe I'll get the oven from there as spare parts (I'd actually assumed it was more integral to the Santa house)

well, the "tube" on doesn't really settle well withouth the "house", but... I am sure something can be worked around it, when the time comes.

Is this a princess academy or a pastry school? They seem unsure.
