I was willing to break my klicky budget for this guy, but the $20 ebay tax is too much.

so it must be high shipping costs which make US exports expensive.
Yeah, the lowest tier, budget rate for shipping a package to the UK is $13 (and not every shipping platform offers this rate). Postal service with commercial discount is around $19. The UPS rate would make a grown man cry. It makes $10 shipping from Korea look quite reasonable.

Wow, those are very well designed. They catch the Vespa look just enough

3 colors, nice accessorized garage/shop

The color choices will allow lots of them to be used in city dioramas and not look too repetitive

Good job Playmobil

Now distribute them world wide

An updated version of The Lightning Bolt spaceship was eventually built, and can be viewed here:

Yes, the shipping fees not only have gone through the roof, they’ve gone into outer space.

To get a shipping container from China, it’s 6x from 5 years ago

Saw some pictures of new Vespa sets online (2 Vespas, and a garage)

Some lovely items, I like the figures. Not sure if the garage walls are System-X and so could be built into other sets?

$35 + $10shipping

No way

If you think the re-sellers are being outrageous, these are $15 new (there's a reason I didn't get the LG exclusives when I was in Korea  )
