I want a short pointy beard and a big moustache
« on: September 04, 2007, 14:45:25 »
Wouldn't a new beard/moustache combination slike that sported by FD below add a certain je ne sais quoi to the "spanish soldier" figures in 4294 and 4295?

This sort of beard was popular during the Reign of Queen Elizabeth I in England, and also in Spain during much the same timeframe.

I agree, Martin ...

This moustache and beard would be great. However, Playmobil probably feels that they have already produced such a figure with their Red Musketeer (4627) ...

I got one of those today but that's not a beard worthy of a Spaniard, that's just for catching dribbles of soup... ;D Odd how it's a different colour from his hair, too. I'm not too sure about the silver trousers - is he supposed to be wearing chainmail trews?

The kind of beard I'm thinking of is much more substantial, but comes to a point in the middle.

I'm sure you meant to type "beard", but bear pretty well describes it! ;D
