Help Repairing Lamp Post 5340/5360
« on: October 30, 2006, 15:27:39 »
I have a lamp post that has gone somewhat haywire.  8} It was in a mixed eBay lot I purchased a while back. The batteries inside corroded inside so it no longer works. Is there a way to remove the residue inside? Or perhaps it just needs a new top light that I am told was recently available in a firetruck? Thanks in advance!

Robbie

Try fine emery paper.

Hello, Robbie ...

Can you take a photo of the inside of the battery compartment, so that we can see how corroded it is? Then we might be able to make some suggestions.

Thanks and all the best,
Richard
