Unit 3 of Playmo Fire Department was called for a structure fire at 413 Linn Hollow Ct. Engine 5 reported heavy fire coming from the rear of a single story structure.
Units on the 1st alarm were Engine 5 and 4, Quint 6, Ladder 4, Medics 5 and 6, Car 5 and 1. A total of 14 firefighters responded to the scene.
A report from the chief stated that the fire was started by unattended food on the stove.
Engine 5 firefighters stage at the front door, waiting on water.

Firefighters mounted a very aggressive interior attack keeping the fire contained to the kitchen and attic areas.

Even though the house was a total loss, many of the contents were saved.

Hi Ben,
Another great and highly realistic photostory. :)
Thanks for sharing with us all.

Who was responsible for the food left on the stove?
Will the family get insurance so they could rebuild?
Were any pets lost in the fire?
I am glad that no klickie lives were lost.

Hello, Ben ...
A house fire is a horrible experience for the residents. Thankfully, most of their personal effects were saved, but it's too bad that their house was a total loss. It was very fortunate that none of the occupants were hurt! Do they have friends and relatives that they can stay with? Or, is their insurance gong to cover the cost of staying in a local hotel?
The other residents living on Linn Hollow Ct. certainly owe the Playmo Fire Dept. a big thank you for arriving so quickly on the scene and keeping the fire so well contained.
What are the immediate plans for the safety of the neighborhood? Will the Playmo Police Dept. cordon off the area to protect children and keep out curious sightseers? And, when will the Playmo Construction Co. begin work on repairs?
Although no reporters or photographers from the Playmo Daily News seemed to be at the fire (probably because the Playmo Fire Dept. got there so quickly), will we be able to later read all the details of what the homeowner's future plans are?
Thanks again for bringing us this horrific story.
All the best,
Richard

This is a very dramatic and well thought out series of photos. :)
Thank you, Ben, for taking the time to post this story here. 8-)

I really like the "human" touch in these photos, where the pickup is loaded and the family piles up their remaining possesions with help of the firefighters. Very atmospheric, I must say. :)9

Hey everyone,
Thanks for all the compliments. I really do enjoy making the pictures as real as i can, and the compliments make it worth it.
As far as I know, no pets were lost in the fire and no one was found responsible for the fire, just food left on the stove.
The Playmo Fire Department has also been in contact with the family's insurance company, and it seems the family will soon have a new home. As for now they're staying in a local hotel.
Thank you
Ben
