I am pretty sure that you will enjoy Sanditon season 1 available on DVD from Amazon and beyond and season 2 is bieng run on ITV1 / ITV Hub from 22/07 onwards. And I believe on PBS for our American Friends  :)

The Last Day of Summer

As they are pushing their dessert trolleys with a bright smile on their faces, Millie & Bridget proudly walk in front of the iconic Hamley's & Harrods London and not to forget Miss Charlotte Fashion Boutique facing the gardens of New Regent St where the celebration of the last day of summer will take place tomorrow  :love:

Welcoming the incomparable Marie Tempest !


Welcoming Dame Mary Susan Etherington better known as Marie Tempest  :wave:!

A famous soprano in late Victorian Opera and Edwardian musical comedies.

Her stellar career spanned over 55 years and she was one of the very first international celebrities of her time starring in London and New York adored by her public and critically acclaimed on both sides of the Atlantic and later embarked on a 8 years world tour to Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India, Singapore, China, Japan and the Philippines.

She starred in many plays including that by Noel Coward and Sommerset Maugham.

On her golden jubilee, her performance at the Theatre Royal was attended by King George V and Queen Mary.

She also founded the Actor's Union Equity while hosting a dinner at the Savoy Hotel  :) !
