Yep. There are artificial clays that can be baked in your own oven without needing a high-temperature kiln. Sculpey is the brand I used to use.

I'm trying to clay the bloodhound now with "das" clay- it's pretty hard!! :-\
I haven't clayed (you say it that way?) since I was like 10. forgot how much dun it is  :)

It's "sculpted." Can't wait to see your efforts! I haven't done much sculpting in a long time except for small playmobil objects like foods for the animals. But I used to really love it. It's a lot of fun.

Practice and patience, I am sure when you first started drawing they looked strange as well but now we all think you drawings are playmo brilliant  ;)
