Title: Evolution of bml87’s collection
Post by: bml87 on December 30, 2017, 14:59:46
Hi klickies!

I will share in this topic my purchases and how my collection will evoluate from now on. Since I can’t go back in time, I will start this after a busy day... A couple of days ago I ordered some Roncalli and other sets by Galeria Kaufhof, they had an extra 15% discount on all Playmobil during the Christmas weekend. Because of this some sets where almost 50% discounted, a chance I couldn't resist! But, as you might now, Galeria Kaufhof only delivers in Germany, so I had to let them deliver my purchase at one of their shops, the closest one for me was in Aachen. It took me 3 hours by train to get there, so I left the morning at 5:30 am. But believe me, it was totally worth it!

I’m sure this is my favourite purchase of 2017:

The outside of the Café des Artistes is unfortunately not printed, but stickered. The good thing about it: it comes stickered!

The inside with pictures on the wall

The trailer looks really nice! I hope they will produce more sets of Roncalli...

That’s it for today :-)

They seem to be great sets in the spirit of Playmobil which seems to be disappearing.

Couldn’t say it better, but I have hope. If the licensed product will sell, I hope they will pay more attention again to the “classic playmobil”, as what happened with Lego.

Don't hold your breath, I'm afraid...But these are great buys!

Such dedication! But well worth it, those Roncalli Circus sets are lovely.

Well, if I count everything together I saved about 110 euros! My train ticket was 26 euros, so in total I still saved 84 euros! That was worth a 6h (in total) trip! I can’t wait to build my next diorama, but that will be in two or three months I guess. I’m still adding more details to my Western diorama and I’m waiting for the little amount of new Western  klickies that will be released in January and February.

Today I received my (small) DS order, since I mentioned that the old DS was still online (in Belgium), I didn’t hesitate and ordered the next animals;

The buffalos I’m going to use in a diorama about the native Americans and the cows are for a Alpine / Forrest diorama:

To my own surprise I have the buffalo in two colours now, the more darker one was added in a second hand Zoo I bought 2 years ago. I always thought that the lighter one, was the rare colour:

I love the buffaloes's faces. They look like they're about to speak.  :indian:

Alright! Today I received another DS order; 3 native Americans and parts I had to order via the after sale service. Normally I will receive the remaining parts of my order on next Monday. So, expect some new pictures for my Western diorama  :lens: http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=16454.10 (http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=16454.10)

To be clear: I ordered the Western windmill through parts, in total it was about 20 euros, seems a fair price, no? Also the carriage is still available via the parts service (except for the original wheels, so I ordered different ones):

Today my final parts order arrived, the two walls on the left I ordered on eBay, the other parts via the Playmobil parts service. I can almost finish my ideas for my Western town  ;D I’m still waiting for the DS update on the Benelux website...

And a small purchase from a local shop:

Today I received my last DS order. Thank goodness I received almost everything I asked for! Even the Roncalli klickies and stickers! I guess it’s no longer a secret that my next diorama will be the Roncalli circus! I will start building it within a month. However, the two items that were not available anymore:

2x 30805450:
and 30805470:

=> both part of the Western water tower (6215). I’ll have to find a way to replace those..

The delivered parts and two purchases; the keyboard girl (9095) and Playmobil magazine (which I bought for the exclusive dog). All the other parts were ordered via the spare parts service:

On the previous page, those darkbrown windows and doorframe  8-)
Which set do/did these come with??   :-[
The Western Farm has white ones, the Railway Station blue ones... I can´t think of a set where they are darkbrown...  ???
(18 years of collecting...I must be getting dementia!)

Exactly tahra, it's from the Western Bank (DS version). I bought some to create a new Western building, but it will be for another diorama in the future. My table got to small unfortunately :wall:

No, the grey cap from Roncalli.. same as the baker's.. and a woman in figures.. something - but that one was green..

Aaah! The one that comes with the clown in set 9040, I own it already ;) ! The only set I do not own of Roncalli is the horse act, that's why I ordered two of those ladies (they will sell the tickets). And the two extra band members I ordered because I wanted a bigger orchestra. I might order an extra blue and red one as well, now I know they can be ordered via email.

My purchase of today! I bought those in Supra Bazar (for the Belgians here). They always have some old stock of Playmobil and for a fair price. I will use those to for a Roncalli circus train:

cheng suggested to give away my tricks to find and feel the Fi?ures. I have to see I didn't make any mistake in finding the ones I really wanted. Some of them I bought twice, it's easy to find them in a new batch at your local shop, once you found 1, you just search for the same codes at the back (above the barcode). When 2 batches are mixed (probably 1 month after the release), you will have to feel all of them 8}

I always focus on 1 item (and sometimes a second one to be sure):
The pilot: the helmet of course, that's easy
The sushi chef: the tray, also easy
The hunter / forest guy: the hat, a bit difficult because it's small part
The Arabian warior: when you feel the jacket, search for the legs, if the legs feel smooth, it's the warrior. Otherwise it could be the motor cyclist (the only one with a fat belly, also easy), the newspaper boy (search for his pants, easy to find as well), the hunter (search for the hat), the butcher (the hat or the sausages) or the Seaport officer (but his hat should give away his identity).

In about 10 minutes I found the 4 of them. Good luck :) ! I think this is one of the more easier-to-find-Fi?ures series. At least for the boys series. Didn't see the girl series yet in Belgium...

These are mold numbers, not part numbers (which generally start 30 or 40). If only Geobra would print part numbers on the parts, life could be a lot easier (though several parts with different numbers can come from the same mold, since the part number also depends on the colour of plastic used and any printing applied).

I totally missed this reply, sorry about that GrahamB! But thanks for the explanation about the mold numbers! Damn it, no sushi orders then...

Today I did that 3-hour train trip again to Galeria Kaufhof in Aachen to collect my online order (so far they still don’t ship items out of Germany), but it was all worth it (in my opinion). Woke up this morning at 4:45 am to start my journey and this is what I got myself:

A closer look at the fortune teller! According to the box picture, she’s part of the circus. She’s a great klicky (but as some of us mentioned before, it’s a pity she can’t sit...). The tarot cards are also a really nice addition!

The hunt is on! Today I found series 14 in Belgium! I searched for 3 klickies that I wanted:

The Nutcracker, the 50's gangster and his Tommy gun and the Roaring twenties' girl (click the picture to enlarge):
(note that the gangster comes with money, I didn't used the notes for the pictures)

The Nutcracker is easy to find because of his hat.
The gangster is a bit more difficult, since a similar coat is used for the Musketier and his crossbow. I would focus on the suitcase.
The girl was easy to find because (at least in the 3 bags I bought) her dress has been put in the bag as 1 piece and is open behind the neck.

Bart Smit and Intertoys, both offer them at the same price € 2,49 each. I guess Colruyt and Euroshop must have them too by now.

Great figures! Thanks for the tips on how to find them when sealed in their bags! I have taken to buying full sets on eBay, it costs a bit more but I don't waste money on duplicates! I will look out for series 14 now they are out!

How is the Nutcracker's mouth made? Is it printing on the chin and neck?? That would be a first I think.

I also forgot to mention the newspaper of the 50's gangster. Apparently (and unfortunately) it's a paper version, not like the plastic newspaper: part 30045730 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-04-5730). Hereby two pictures of the front and the back of the newspaper. The text seems to be in Latin, I tried to translate it via Google translate, but that didn't work well... (click to enlarge)

Today I found some nice offers in shops with "older" Playmobil stock, bought some of them together with some new sets:

Older sets: 6815 (2015) and 4792 (2014)

Older sets: 4791 (2014), 4778 (2013), 5424 (2012) and 4757 (2010)

I'd like to mention that set 9103 is not in the Belgian catalogue, but it seems Euroshop, Europoint and Supra Bazar sell them...

And last but not least! The welder from series 14 and and and Zorro and Uncle Sam from series 1! (For the interested Belgians amongst us, they still have some series 1 at Supra Bazar Hulste). The welder is easy to find because of the gas cylinder.

Today I paid another visit to Aachen (Germany). I was surprised to find Luther and Albrecht Dürer still in a shop (Teddy & Co.)! I only had one of each, I bought two more of each now. Apart from that I took the advantage to take the new catalogue with me. I was really lucky to find the Forest House (6811) at 19,99 Euro in Galeria Kaufhof. I also bought 4 more nutcrackers of series 14, I have a small army now of 18 nutcrackers... pictures will follow...

I like that Nutcracker's head because it recreates in PM (within the limitations of the klicky) the traditional wooden nutcracker doll, like the one you showed us bml87. I have found many of the male Fi?ures lacking in imagination in recent series, so it's good to see them think outside the box a bit.

Exactly, that’s why I’m going to leave the head like it is. I think it’s very nice to use with the circus theme or for a Christmas theme. Of course, if you want to use the klicky in another theme, I guess you might change the head into a normal one.

My trip to Colongne started really chaotic and stressful. I was going to take a bus from Brussels to Cologne at 7:15am. So I woke up early and took the earliest train to Brussels... That’s where it went wrong, my train had a delay, so I missed the bus! Actually I ran out of the station and I saw it driving away... I could die. The next bus was 4 hours later... so I took a train to Cologne which was of course more expensive... but anyway I arrived on the same time bus arrived.

I first went to Galeria Kaufhof and Teddy & Co. It appears that Galeria Kaufhof (and the Funstores) are selling the “German Red Cross” sets already!!! However I didn’t buy any of them, because I’m going to wait a year or more to get the best price ;) . Here are two pictures:

(As always, click to enlarge)

The flyer:

The back of box 9537:

Apparently the sets are on the “wanted list” of many, because I returned in the afternoon and half of the stock was sold already!!!

Around 2pm I went to the Playmobil Funstore! First of all I was a bit “underwhelmed” it’s really a small shop. Definitely if you compare it with the Lego shop (I checked out of curiosity) in Cologne, which is much more attractive! Playmobil should take an example to that! I didn’t take pictures of the shop because it didn’t have anything exclusive, just the racks with the blue boxes. On the other hand I have to say that the personnel is really friendly and willing to help you. Unfortunately they don’t sell all the sets that are on the German website. I was really planning to buy the 3 Playmos and other exclusive klickies they only sell on the German website.

Anyway, I came home with this ensemble:

I actually bought the 3 Yankees four times. With some modifications and combining them with the klickies of sets 3034, 3037, 5245 and 5249 I made the next groups of Yankees:

And last but not least! I ordered these klickies via the Parts Service and modified them as well, you may find them in my next Western diorama:

Thank you for the report!

Such bad luck with the bus :(   FOUR hours!? That's terrible!

I would very much like to get my hands on a few of those red cross klickys, but the sets are too huge for me :(

Love the purchases! And your customs! Those 3+1 sets are usually great to make armies...

You bought the woman with the grey skirt from ds parts? I want her too!

Again, thanks for sharing!

Thank you for the report!

You're welcome, tahra ;)

Such bad luck with the bus :(   FOUR hours!? That's terrible!

I used FlixBus, I discovered it recently. Good service, enough leg space (more than a plane, but that's not difficult) and air-conditioning! "Unfortunately", unlike other bus services, they leave on time , otherwise I could have caught it...

I would very much like to get my hands on a few of those red cross klickys, but the sets are too huge for me :(

Well, now the sets are released, I guess it's easy to order them via the DS parts service, or your connections in Spain ;)

Love the purchases! And your customs! Those 3+1 sets are usually great to make armies...

After all I'm quite satisfied with my purchase, it could have been much more, so my wallet is also happy about it. ::)

You bought the woman with the grey skirt from ds parts? I want her too!

Yes, these are the klickies I ordered:

Thanks :)   I'll try the "grandma".

Usually the klickys aren't easy to order, right?  I have.... issues with iberia.

We'll see. So far I didn't see those red cross ones in nembers (saw ONE, was outbid)... same with the dragnons ones :'(  (which is a LOT more serious!)

I never had troubles with ordering klickies, so far all the klickies I ordered via DS, were delivered! Of course, you have to order the hats, bracelets, etc. ... separately, but I guess you know that :) .

I think the part numbers will be released soon, like I said, the sets are selling well (at least in Cologne).

That second one has legs that are perfect for medieval conversions and a really nice colour too.

That fourth one with the mask, does the belt come with it? I didn't realise they were still making that design of belt.

Klicky 30002242 (set 4072), first released in 2005 (!)
Klicky 30003252 (set 4665 / 6320), first released in 2007 (!)

Indeed amazing these are still available!
Now I wonder how many wonderful klickies (of which we sometimes don´t even know the partnumber) are gathering dust since many years in the warehouse...

That fourth one with the mask, does the belt come with it? I didn't realise they were still making that design of belt.

I forgot to mention that all accessories need to be ordered separately, but you can still order the belt yes! It's this part: http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-02-2980

I also want to mention that I tried to order 2 Victorian klickies, unfortunately those were not available anymore. I tried it because those two figures were re-released in 2012 in set 5955: http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=5955 . I tried to order the women in blue and purple, so I don't know if the other klickies are unavailable as well...

I also tried to order the pale blue neckerchief (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-08-5470) for klicky 30002242 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-00-2242), but it appears that the part is sold out. However, I found out that part 30092062 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-09-2062) is still available and according to the set picture (6592) I guess it probably has the same colour. So I'm going to order that one!

Today I took a huge guess with my DS parts order... :o Let me explain this to you... I guess most of you are familiar with the Altaya (Deagostini) Playmobil books, if not, click here: https://www.altaya.fr/enfants/playmobil-aventures-de-l-histoire . This collection started in January 2016 in France and the first wave included 50 books + exclusive figures. Because of the success, Altaya ordered 20 more klickies: 10 male and 10 female. This wave was released in March 2017.

I wondered if I could figure out the part numbers of those klickies somehow, so I started to investigate the "part gaps" on playmodb.org . I found out that there was a gap of exact 10 klickies in both categories (male and female) around the period that the second wave was supposed to come out. (I checked some known klickies before and after the gaps to determine the period of release)

Female: From 30149230 to 30149320 http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/category.pl?sortby=partnum&page=16&category=Klicky-Adult+female&pics=off
Male: From 30009203 to 30009293 http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/category.pl?cat=Klicky;subcat=Adult%20male;pics=;sortby=partnum;page=43

If I'm lucky enough and the part numbers are in the same order that the klickies were released with the Altaya books, then these should be the linked part numbers:

30149230   Athena
30149240   Aliénor D'aquitaine
30149250   Woman from Alexandria
30149260   Female ninja
30149270   Mary Shelley
30149280   Cleopatra
30149290   Marie Curie
30149300   Florence Nightingale
30149310   Female singer
30149320   Jeanne d'Arc

30009203   Vincent Van Gogh
30009213   Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
30009223   William Shakespeare
30009233   Male rockstar
30009243   Don Quijote
30009253   Director
30009263   Scientist
30009273   Leonardo da Vinci
30009283   Molière
30009293   Tenisser

So, with this list I ordered 3 female klickies today: Mary Shelley, Marie Curie and Florence Nightingale. I will inform you if my research was right... :sherlock: I got the confirmation already that my order has been processed (= I will get klickies, how exciting). Normally it will arrive in one week... Note that the klickies will come without accessories (unfortunately)!

It usualy takes 5 business days, so I would say next Tuesday or Wednesday. This is 1 of the most exciting orders I have waited for!!! If my guess was wrong, then I can only hope that the 3 klickies are from the “Altaya collection”. In that case the part numbers don’t share the same order as the collection. If they’re not from the Altaya collection, I still have a good chance to receive 3 exclusive klickies... We’ll see...

Dear friends, 1 day turned out to be 2 days more... Anyway! Today I received my DS parts order. Unfortunately my research didn't have the result I hoped for, but! I was able to discover an unknown klicky!

In the picture you can see the first 6 klickies (from the left) that I was sure of, when I ordered. The last klicky, the Egyptian woman (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=k6492b), appears to be part 30149270. As you can see, it's not Mary Shelley as I assumed earlier. This is a klicky from set 6492 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=6492), released in June 2016 and costs 2,50 euros. On my invoice I got the note that part "30149290" and part "30149300" don't exist! Strange that they really leave gaps in the numbering of the klickies! (Or they are just simply not allowed to send customers the parts of the Altaya collection, I wonder...)
Concerning the other klickies from left to right:
30009622 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30009622) from 2011
30004252 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30004252) from 2007 (!)
30008672 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30008672) from 2010
30009532 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30009532) from 2011
30004910 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30004910) from 1994, but rereleased in 2017
30144770 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30144770) from 2011

I also ordered 40102180 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=40102180), 30005122 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30005122), 30145310 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30145310), 30143110 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30143110) and 30101950 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30101950), but those were not available anymore.

Now, does this mean I will stop my research for special klickies: no! I will try some other things and keep you updated about it!

In the next picture you can see my customs I made with my recent orders of klickies! Note that the white bonnet (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30080310) is still available to order and costs 0,35 euros!

Today I also got a notification that I will receive set 9326: Theodor Fontane tomorrow!!! :woohoo:

That's it for today, will be continued (of course)...

I suspect the latter.

Well never mind, it was good sleuthing, even if the hoped-for result didn't happen!

Well, today I have put a new order. If this doesn't work, then we can conclude that it is impossible to order the Altaya/Deagostini klickies via the DS. Fingers crossed! :hissyfit:

Thanks for the effort, at least it fills in some blanks. Interesting that they're mostly tanned figures.
Good to know that the white kerchief is still available as it claims it isn't on the website. I was going to try for some anyway.

Anytime ;) ! But note that the tanned figures were not guesses, those I ordered on purpose. It’s only the Egyptian woman that I got by guessing. The two other part numbers that I guessed were Altaya klickies don’t exist according to Playmobil.

I thought it was worth trying to order the white kerchief, I usually put one or two parts orders per month and I alway try stuff (that I really need and want) that are not on the website.

Today I also received Theodor Fontane, a bit weird that his whiskers come in a lighter grey colour... Here together with Captain Iglo, his beard an hair are completely white ;)

Today I received another parts order! Unfortunately no luck today with my "Altaya research" (http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=16456.msg300927#msg300927)... But I was able to connect two klickies to unknown part numbers.

Part 30149660: the mother from set 6530 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=6530) (July 2017)
Part 30149580: the princess from set 9215 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=9215) (March 2017)

I also got the confirmation that part 30149710 is not available anymore, so we'll never know which (female) klicky that was...

I will do some more investigation, but I'm getting the feeling that the exclusive klickies (the ones that don't come in sets with a 4- (or 5-)digit set number) have completely other part numbers and don't follow the standard numbering...

Another parts order arrived yesterday!

Unfortunately no sign of the Altaya (http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=16456.msg300927#msg300927) klickies so far... (I’m not going to give up yet!) The first 5 klickies from the left I ordered intentionally, the other two ladies were guesses. More info you’ll find under the picture.
Lady Marian (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30%2014%200510), she reminded me of her, from a re-release of set 3627 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/your_set_list.pl?title=Sets%20containing%2030%2014%200510%20(Lady);setlist=3627,6464) in 2015.
The nurse (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30%2014%207950) from set 6657 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=6657) (2015).
The Roncalli clown (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-00-8413) from set 9042 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=9042) (2016).
The rabbit teacher  (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-13-0830) from set 6173 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=6173) (2015).
The burglar (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-13-1210) from set 6393 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=6393) (2014).
The singer from set 9095 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=9095) (2017), which appears to have part number 30149160.
The blade warrior from set 9073 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=9073), which appears to have part number 30149190.

With the parts orders from the past month I made those three lovely ladies. You will see them in my next Western diorama. I still have to fix their husbands...

I restored my Romani Orchestra members from set 3723 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=3723). The pants I used are the pants from klicky 30144770 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-14-4770). As far as I know, it’s the only klicky who has those pants in combination with the shoes. Unfortunately I miss two of those red bow ties (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-06-4330). If anyone can help, please feel free, I’m willing to pay for them.

I had no idea either... though it's not very... playmobilish.

Yep, from one of the american sets... Must get me a couple too!

I highly recommend the sticker sheet from 9312 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30%2080%203625) as well. It has great jar stickers for a wizard, witch or alchemist and the coffin lid sticker plus a nice bat that fits on the top of the rack of shelves. Also that shelf unit is in dark grey - a new color for an old part.

The stickers look cool indeed, but only if I wanted to use the coffins for a Halloween diorama. For my Western diorama, I will leave the coffins plain.

The crew is ready to serve! I ordered some extra Roncalli girls and boys and customised some of them. Apart from 3 others, this is the complete crew!

Apparently I received the last 9 pieces of the hat (according to my invoice, I actually ordered 10 of them):

Apparently it is cheaper to order the colts / foals via the DS parts service, than to order set 6263 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=6263) for example. Now I still miss one, which I ordered separately...

Thanks, Giorginetto! I will soon start to create a new diorama, I'm just waiting for a new parts order to finish my last Western diorama (http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=16762). This time I will create a forest diorama!

I viewed this entire tread and it has been quite helpful in greatly expanding my “have to have” list for our western and circus collection  :wow: thank you Boris

Wow, thanks for the kind words Rasputin and anytime! Like I replied to Giorginetto, I'm waiting for a new parts order, which contains a lot of klickies! I will share it here when it arrives! Apart from that I have been buying a lot of sets the past month, many sets on my wanted list were on sale!!! Maybe I will share some pictures soon of my last purchases!

Today I went to Colruyt again, past Saturday I didn't have much time to sort out some Figures. Now I have all the klickies I wanted. If you want to see details of the other Figures, our Playmofriend Luftgaengerin bought them all, check it out here (http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=16816.0).

The Dutch girl seems useful in many ways, the hippy guy fits with the circus people and to my own surprise, the lady in blue is not just a lady, but the Queen! As you can see, I made already a custom clown with the parts of the new gnome!

Today my new parts order arrived!

Since I own already the first take along Western Town (4398 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=4398)), I decided to only order the (unique) klickies of the second version (70012 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=70012)):
From left to right:
The sherif 30003794 (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-00-3794) (2018), I ordered two of him to make some customs
The outlaw 30003784 (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-00-3784) (2018), I ordered two of him to make some customs
The banker 30003774 (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-00-3774) (2018)
The bounty hunter 30003804 (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-00-3804) (2018)

I was hoping to receive more of the Zoo klickies, but it appears some of them are sold out... I couldn’t find set 6818 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=6818) with the female beekeeper anymore, so I ordered the DS set 6573 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=6573) with the male klicky. Afterwards I ordered the female klicky.

The zookeeper 30000183 (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-00-0183) from set 5969 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=5969) (2015)
The female beekeeper 30148430 (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-14-8430) (2015)
The Air France stewardess from set 9151 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=9151) appears to have part number 30149320 (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-14-9320) (2016). She was a guess in my Altaya research (http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=16456.msg300927#msg300927), so still no positive results unfortunately.

A fowl foal and two children:

The pirate boy 30102790 (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-10-2790) from set 5135 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=5135) (2011 !!!)
The farm boy 30103710 (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-10-3710) from set 5686 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=5686) (2016)

Some custom klickies, if you want more info of the original klickies, just ask!
The only klicky that didn’t change a lot, is the third one. I used the robber 30006922 (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-00-6922) from set 4239 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=4239) (2009 !!!)

Interesting klickies.
You are writing fowl but mean foal. Fowl is used to describe birds - particularly as waterfowl - meaning ducks and geese and relatives.
Foal is a young horse or relative like donkey or mule.
That particular foal and the adult horse from the same set have never been available from parts department Germany except by email order, don't know why it is more special than other painted horses.

The movie figures series 1 are finally available in Belgium (shops: Fun, Dreamland and Euroshop)! But damn, that price!!! 4 euros each!!! Anyway, as always I make a selection of which figures I want and there’s always a chance I’ll buy more after the popular and useful reviews by tahra. I bought the pirate captain, the sherif and the farmer. I changed the heads of course and the doubles I will use to create other klickies.

I like most heads, but don't understand why they are all crosseyed.

He is cool! I like it when they use these legs for early modern figures. The printed cuffs are also très chique, and the head is mighty fine.

Is the farmer printed on his back?

But damn, that price!!!

:o Is it the same elsewhere? I find the 2,99 € in Germany already hard to swallow ...

Enjoy your purchases and thanks for showing

They all look really cartoonish, I guess you can make a really funny diorama with them, but I prefer to stay with the traditional faces.

The parts are indeed very nice and useful for other themes as well! I agree that the head of the black captain is definitely fine, because all black klickies (as far as I know) have the white eyes with the black printed pupils. So this one looks quite authentic (apart from the small mouth, which is a thin line).

Is the farmer printed on his back?

None of the three figures I bought are printed on the back, unfortunately.

:o Is it the same elsewhere? I find the 2,99 € in Germany already hard to swallow ...

I noticed that in France they are also sold for € 3,99. I guess this is the price outside of Germany :'(

Thanks for showing them. I meanwhile bought mine on ebay, that is almost my only source since there are little or no toystores anymore in my area. Even the Fun one is now also gone. Just one Dreamland left, so everyone storms that shop and mostly the wanted figures are gone immediately. I usually don´t even bother anymore to go search for them there...

Were they cheaper on eBay? There’s still a Fun in Sint-Denijs-Westrem. Unfortunately, the prices are more expensive there for the regular sets. They also sell the common figures in Colruyt. I always get mine there, although I haven’t seen the movie bags over there yet. Once you know how the klickies are put in the presentation box, it’s very easy to sort them out (unless the shop has mixed them in a mesh box). They always come like this, so you only have to feel the bags per 4:

So far they always came like this! And believe me, I checked a lot  :sherlock:

Got them on ebay in a range between 3,50 and 5,00 euro per figure. Excluding shipping of course. But I try to combine with other stuff, though that does not always work out.
The Fun in S-D-W is too far off for me (I´m on the entire opposite side of the city), too hard to reach without a car and public transport to that place is a nightmare (like it is to most of the rest of the country). Fun Stores are indeed quite expensive for most of the regular sets. So, ultimately it would be a whole hassle to go look there for a few figures and even not being sure that they´ll still have the ones that I want... Most probably that store will already be raided by Playmo-Wim, he lives overthere.
There is a Colruyt near me, but they have very little Playmo and I haven´t yet seen Surprise Figures there.  Maybe once, some leftovers from several years ago but of course not the interesting ones. :-\

I was in the new Fnac yesterday in the Veldstraat, they had a bunch of series 15, for 2,09 euros each! Unfortunately mixed in a basket... so you can't use my trick there. Anyway, they also had the Movie series in stock, untouched ;-) ! And in the original presentation box! However they were not yet priced, but I guess they're between 3,50 and 3,99. I didn't buy any, since I got the ones that I wanted. Maybe that shop is closer for you? To my own surprise they had quite a lot of Playmobil sets!

Ah?! I haven´t been in the Fnac in ages, I did´t know they started selling Playmo  8}

Since they introduced the circulation traffic plan to ban as much as possible motorized vehicles, I don´t go much into town anymore.
I don´t have a car but I drive a Vespa, but now I have to follow the same diversion routes for cars. Insain. To do a route/distance that took me 15 minutes before the circulation plan, it now takes me 45 minutes to drive around the entire city to enter it on the other side. All nice when you have lots of time and the weather is good and air-polution is low. And no thanks to being pressed as a sardine with full shopping-bags in an overfilled bus that now rides only once an hour on weekdays and twice an hour on Sunday. This country is going to hell. Oh well, the entire planet probably.

The hunt is on! Series 16 finally arrived in Belgium. I picked all the klickies that were on my wanted list. I guess this is one of the best series so far! I just need a couple of those black musicians extra, I want to add some other instruments to the band!

Some customs after the hunt on series 16 and the Movie series 1:

A really nice torso, which was available already with klicky 30000344 (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-00-0344). Unfortunately the white of the torso (and the arms in the musician’s case) are not clean white, but shiny glittering white, so you can’t create white klickies with it. Unless there are sleeves in this colour, does anyone know?

As far as I´m aware of, no other sleeves yet in that "glittering white" colour then these Series 16 ones... Maybe somewhere a female curved sleeve though, of those I don´t keep track as much.

I wanted to take pictures of my Western klickies for a very long time. Today I found the time to take them! You will see original, semi-custom and custom klickies which I consider to fit into the Western World. I numbered the pictures, which will make it easier if you want to comment them or if you have questions about some of the customised klickies. Feel free to copy them or to let them be an inspiration, after all, some of my own customs were inspired by others! Enjoy (and click to enlarge):

That's a gorgeous collection! I love the diversity you managed to get, you could fill up a town with those klickies.  :o

They look excellent, the whole lot! If I had to name one, I'd have to say I'm particularly fond of the old preacher in #10.

Very cool.
I saw Deadwood, Tombstone, and spaghetti western characters amongst the crowd.

A great use of parts, and to repeat others: a unique and diverse group.

We get to see them in a diorama soon...?

Ok, the long version..

The ones with the clown/milka guy torso in #4 are great - that torso IS amazing for a variety of themes!

And the movie farmer in #5 with a normal head and beard looks great too!

Love the guy in #6 - another PERFECT torso... for.. well.. EVERY FREAKIN THEME.

The men in shorts in #7 throw me off a bit... but I assume you know better than me!  And love the milkmaid woman like that.

I think the hats in #17 and #23 could use some erasing, so as not to have equal markings.. Then again, one only notices this because they are side by side, right? :)

Love that woman on #24! Very creative, with the shoulder things and the jacket! Really really gorgeous!

I had never thought of the egyptian mother in #25 as fit for western - I stand corrected :)

And the women from the pirate torsos on #26 =

And... I envy you the woman on #32 - especially her grey skirt ;D

In all, a great varied bunch! Thanks for sharing them!

Thanks a lot everyone! I actually didn't realise I have over 160 Western Klickies until I took the pictures, it was about time for a photoshoot :camera:! With all those mystery bags coming out in 2020 I will definitely be able to create more unique Western Klickies! I'm looking forward to all of those new parts!

And now some more detailed answers ;)

you could fill up a town with those klickies.  :o
We get to see them in a diorama soon...?

I have done two Western diorama's already: North American desert (http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=16703) and Western Town II (http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=16762) (which was an update of an earlier version). I'm currently working on a third one: North American forest (https://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=16978.0) and I know it takes long, my apologies! But like some of us, I am a perfectionist and I'm still waiting for some parts to arrive. I will post some pictures soon! Apart from that, I have a new idea for Western Town III! I will not set up the farm anymore (due the lack of space) and instead I will build some more Steck buildings to create a larger town, I guess most of the figures might fit in! :cowboy:

The ones with the clown/milka guy torso in #4 are great - that torso IS amazing for a variety of themes!

I will say it once more, it's thanks to you I saw the true purpose of this torso! For those who missed it, click here (http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=8205.msg301058#msg301058).

The men in shorts in #7 throw me off a bit... but I assume you know better than me!  And love the milkmaid woman like that.

I have to say I actually don't know if men in the Old West wore that type of shorts, on the other hand I see it more and more in Playmobil Western diorama's. Eventually I had two of those pants left since I used that very useful torso of the Lebkuchen baker ;) and I thought let's give it a try!

I think the hats in #17 and #23 could use some erasing, so as not to have equal markings.. Then again, one only notices this because they are side by side, right? :)

Indeed, even if one of the hats was "corrected" they look too similar to put next to each other. Somehow a missed opportunity of Playmobil. It's different with the 4 guys in picture 23, I see them as brothers that form a gang.

Love that woman on #24! Very creative, with the shoulder things and the jacket! Really really gorgeous!

I have to be honest I was inspired by one of the wonderful customs of specialist (https://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=1270). Click here (https://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=16705.msg301239#msg301239) (second picture) ;)

I had never thought of the egyptian mother in #25 as fit for western - I stand corrected :)

As you might remember, she was one of the guesses in my Altaya research (for those who missed it, click here (https://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=16456.msg301064#msg301064)). After changing the head, she looked very useful indeed! By the way, I'm still ordering unknown part numbers now and then :sherlock:

And the women from the pirate torsos on #26 =

I'm so proud of those! Playmobil should create a Latin American theme! That would be awesome!

And... I envy you the woman on #32 - especially her grey skirt ;D

You might remember I ordered her via the DS (https://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=16456.msg300716#msg300716), unfortunately I tried to order a second one recently and I got the reply that she is sold out :hissyfit:

Yes, that klicky is all amazing (and he doesn't have THAT hair!) - the only thing I wish is that he had those baggy long sleeves... I mean, there is nothing wrong with white arms, but I do have a box of them..

Indeed, even if one of the hats was "corrected" they look too similar to put next to each other. Somehow a missed opportunity of Playmobil. It's different with the 4 guys in picture 23, I see them as brothers that form a gang.

What I meant was not the hat in itself... I think it looks weird to have the same bullet holes and stitching on all of them... even if it was a uniform...

By the way, I'm still ordering unknown part numbers now and then :sherlock:

Some nice customs in there  8-)

From the girls, one of my 2 favourites is the same one as the one mentioned by The Green Man ehrr St-John.
Good that Mr. "Ronald Tramp" was not around in the 19th century, he might have build a wall around her so we would never get to see her.
She could also function nicely as a Native from the Southern Americas (Peru, Bolivia, ...) from after the Conquista era.

From the others, my favourites are the ones that could also fit f.e. into the 17th/18th centuries (mostly the ones with the kneepants, the guy with "yelloworgange" high hat & short vest, and the woman dressed in grey)

US policy towards Mexico and Mexicans was far more aggressive than anything "Tramp" has even suggested, from the 19th century basically until Reagan.

Thanks, Tim! It seems that no one recognised the cameo of George R. R. Martin so far in that picture (n° 4). Now check again (https://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=16456.msg306333#msg306333) and compare:

I really like the woman in grey (at least if you were referring to picture 30) as well, therefore I was glad that klicky 30145720 (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30%2014%205720) could still be ordered via the DS!

Thanks a lot! The dessert and forest are easier to create, because when I'm creating a town I also want to create the interiors of the houses, which means more details = more work! But it's relaxing to build new diorama's anyway!

I know there have been US-Mexican troubles and wars in the past.
At the end of the Reagan-era, I saw and crossed (through a gate) a big wall in Berlin. But I wasn´t aware of such a wall on the US-Mexico border back then. I thought the big modern fences, wires etc. on the US-border with Mexico - and the plans to expand that - came (much) later, but I´m a European and could be wrong about it.
For the rest, I like to joke with names (and about politics of all kinds) and I do not want to stray off path here with a discussion about US politics.

Thanks a lot, Karim! About our knowledge of parts, I think we have to thank a lot Heather (https://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=128) for her great efforts by creating and updating the Playmobil database (http://www.playmodb.org)! To me it is like the Bible of Playmobil. I "studied" it a lot in my search for parts and klickies and I'm very thankful for her contributions which are very useful for all the collectors! On the other, it's also because of the database that a lot of my money goes to the DS parts service of Playmobil ;D

Many of us are experienced customisers and I'm sure everyone has his own method of splitting a klicky. Today I would like to show you how I split my klickies (of course I'm talking about the klickies that don't come from the mystery bags).

I use 3 things: a klicky (of course), a piece of an inner tube (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bicycle_tire#/media/File:Bicycle_tube.jpg) of a bicycle tire (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bicycle_tire) and pincers (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pincers_(tool)):

1. I put the piece of the inner tube a bit over the klicky's shoulders, this will protect the plastic against any damage (caused by the pincers):

2.A I put the pincers right under the klicky's head and I put the pincers together gently (go to step 3):

2.B If you could see through the inner tube, step 2.A would look like this:

3. Now gently put the pincers together, until you have the feeling that the head is halfway out (as in the picture). After that, pull the head out with your hand, using some force and the klicky will be split without any damage! Of course it happens, when you are a little too enthusiastic that the head pops out immediately when you're using the pincers too fast. In that case you could have a little bit of damage at the edge of the neck (almost invisible).

Now, for klickies that wear a coat, a jacket, a collar... (something around the neck):

1. You have to use a second piece of inner tube, just like this:

2.A Now put the pincers next to the cheeks of the klicky (go to 2.B to see what I mean here):

2.B If you could see through the inner tubes, it would look like this:

3. Now, don't put the pincers completely together, instead make sure you have a grip on the head and pull until you have the feeling the head has come out. Because you used two pieces of inner tube, the head and the jacket won't be damaged at all!

Notes:
If you want to try this method, you can always practise on some older klickies, you will see this is a very easy method!
After about 4 months (depending on how many klickies you have split), you will have to use new pieces of inner tubes to avoid damaging the heads. Luckily an inner tube is quite long ;)
It could be that a little bit of black came off on the klicky's face, you can easily remove this with some disinfection alcohol for example.

That rubber piece is a good idea... I use a "ring" made out of cardboard and tape - in need of replacement  ::) - when I yank the klickys... I do that for speedos or kids (cause it's hard to get a hold on them to pop them on the... popper  :P )

The inner tube is an interesting solution. I've been using a strip of cloth wound multiple times around the head, but I'm tempted to give this a shot too. When I started customizing I would jam a knife in between the torso and the legs in a sitting position; though I wrapped the end of the knife with paper and adhesive tape, I ended up scratching a few legs, so I abandoned that method.

Anyway: that klicky in #4 is a nice homage to G.R.R. Martin indeed!  :yup:

Yeah, well.. I TRIED to do a mouth for that knight (who was the BRILLIANT MIND who thought he didn't need a mouth?! What a stupid, senseless thing to do :( ), but quit after several attempts.

Are you talking about this knight (see picture)? Well, the good thing is, that his hair (according to the pictures) will be compatible with the head of Dr. Emmett Brown (Back to the Future)! Let the customising begin!

May I add that the colour of the torso of this knight is the same colour as the arms (and coat) of the black pirate named Bloodbones in the Movie Figures series! Too bad there's no print on the torso...

Before I used the inner tube, I used a piece of cloth as well, but the pincers sometimes cut through it, which damaged the klicky's face. It seems that the rubber of the inner tube is much stronger in combination with the pincers! I consider my method really user-friendly and safe, I think on 200 klickies I might have just 1 that was visible damaged...

After finishing my latest Western diorama ”The North American forest” (https://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=16978.msg306738#msg306738), I finally can start thinking about a new diorama. At the moment I have 2 ideas in mind, an Alpine theme based on the upcoming Heidi theme or a new Western Town.

In the mean time I created some new customs. The first 4 from the left will make an appearance in a new Western diorama and the violinist will be a part of the Alpine theme:

Wow - love the first four - might copy the first guy, and the woman (if I have the torso in the poptubs) :)

LOVE the brownish one too (duh) - and great use for that pirate torso (that one I do believe I have only one, and he arrived not that long ago)

As to the violinist, I find the combination of torso + jacket a bit too bright... Though a nice match with the shorts and hat too!

Thanks a lot! Go ahead, hereby the parts I used:

The (first) cowboy:
Torso: 30 00 8592 (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-00-8592) (the pants went to the violinist ;) )
Arms: can be found on many klickies, most recent one is the one of the trapper (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=70159) of series 16
Vest: there are more options (as far as I know), but one is this pirate: 30 00 8870 (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-00-8870)
Pants: various cowboys
Beard: from this pirate: 30 00 9542 (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-00-9542)
Hair: from the logger (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=k70025f) of series 15

The lady in green:
Torso: This green lady: 30 14 0570 (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-14-0570)
Pants: From the hunter (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=k9217a) of set 9217, I erased the tie.
The neckerchief: Part 30 29 5120 (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-29-5120)

LOVE the brownish one too (duh) - and great use for that pirate torso (that one I do believe I have only one, and he arrived not that long ago)

As you probably noticed already, many pirates died in order to create my Western customs :D

As to the violinist, I find the combination of torso + jacket a bit too bright... Though a nice match with the shorts and hat too!

Thanks to you (https://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=16971.msg305741#msg305741) I found the matching arms!!!

I surely have the parts for the guy, just not sure on her torso...  or the neckpiece in green...

But they don't really have to be an exact copy :)

Love how those turned out! I have a soft spot for shades of brown myself (you're not alone, tahra ;)), I particularly dig the beggar. The violinist too, I can almost hear a folk tune coming out of the fiddle.

Some new customs I made for a future Western diorama. Unfortunately I don't have the space right now to create a new diorama, but I keep creating new custom klickies! Enjoy!

Thanks a lot! I keep working behind the scenes ;)

@ Tim: the pink lady in picture 5 was inspired by a collector named PlaymoJesús, definitely check out his Facebook page: click here (https://www.facebook.com/playmojesus/photos/1615958755279846)

The 3rd wealthy guy (the grey one) in picture 10 was a copy of a klicky by collector Jerome Dillinger, check out his Instagram page here (https://www.instagram.com/p/CMylQQXJOtl/?utm_medium=copy_link&fbclid=IwAR0W-u072hnWppJo2td5ZHq7YetL9ADFljZJIrrG_db4oxBrT3SwpBPkDZg). Amazing Western village!

Thanks, guys! More ideas are coming, but I'm waiting for my spare parts order. Which includes an unknown male klicky, I'm very excited to see which one it'll be... To be continued!!!

By the way, something odd happened to my previous spare parts order. I ordered this guy:

But instead I got Aesop:

I assume it was a mistake, but a welcome one! I really wanted that klicky and now I don't have to spend money on that set!

Aesop's part number is unknown (I.e. not in PlaymoDB). If you check your invoice, it may be listed there. If so, why not send it to Heather to include in the DB (or just add it here)? By such mistakes, quite a few part numbers have been revealed in the past!

Hi Graham, I checked it on the invoice. It's the same part number as the guy from Spirit: 30009484. In a next order I will order it again and see what happens ;) . I have sent some unknown klicky numbers to Heather in the past, but for this one we are not sure - yet -. I'll post it here when I know more.

Two weeks ago I was in Roeselare for the Playmobil exhibition where I bought some klickies to customize, together with some parts (and other klickies) I ordered via the DS I was able to create the next klickies:

1. Some Western men
(https://i.imgur.com/X4Voz4t.jpg)

2. Some Western men
(https://i.imgur.com/mg82KYW.jpg)

3. A trapper and a boy
(https://i.imgur.com/svT8coG.jpg)

4. Some Western women
(https://i.imgur.com/QkXT1MX.jpg)

5. Some klickies that can be used with the Circus theme: Ringmaster, 3 animal keepers and a visitor
(https://i.imgur.com/mL3Cuoc.jpg)

6. 4 circus workers
(https://i.imgur.com/V2b7Bky.jpg)

Apart from the customizing... Something else:

On one of the DS orders I ordered again this guy (also read this (https://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=16456.msg315148#msg315148)):

But guess what... I got again another klicky!!! Not Aesop as last time, but sunburnt dad from set 70112 (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=70112)!

After some research on Playmodb I think I might know what is happening here... As you can see in the next screenshot there's a part number gap before and after the guy from Spirit (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-00-9484)
Parts 30009474 and 30009494 are unknown, so my guess is that the Spirit klicky is just not available anymore and the warehouse employees just give 30009474 or 30009494 instead. Eventhough 30009484 is invoiced...

Great figures! Those Back to the Future advent figures are really useful for western theme.
Interesting about the klicky part numbers. May be an issue with the storage bins at the parts department sliding around or getting mixed together??

Thanks, Tim! And I agree, they are very useful! I was actually kinda lucky, because it was for a short time possible to order the two klickies of Dr. Emmett Brown via the website. I ordered two of each ;D . I guess this was a mistake of the web designer, because they took them offline ::)

Well, there's only one way to find out... It's to order one of the two unknown part numbers, according to Playmodb most part numbers are released in chronological order. That would mean that 30009474 is probably Aesop, which is a great figure! So I'll order that one in a next parts order.

Happened the same with Patroclus when the Greek sets first appeared on the website, but he was removed before I could bite.  :(

My expanded Romani orchestra (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=3723) with the legs from this klicky (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-14-4770), I was able to collect all the different colours of this hair type (except for Fred (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-00-6334)'s hair from Scooby Doo):

The second one is the original one from set 3392 (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=3392) (or 3797 (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=3797)), the others are custom:

I owned these klickies from sets 3398 (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=3398) and 3737 (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=3737) as a child, but I played so much with them back then, that they got kinda damaged, so I was really happy to buy them again for a really fair price:

I was able to collect the white version of the original klicky that appeared in Figures 16 (http://www.playkingdoms.com/pk2/library/figures/figs16/s16b1.aspx#b01), together with the klicky from set 9229 (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=9229) they form another circus band.

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you that I'm going to Berlin next week to attend the concert of the and only John Williams (https://www.berliner-philharmoniker.de/en/concerts/calendar/details/53783/)! I'm super excited, because I never thought I would be able to see him in person (Covid, age, ...)! His music is such an inspiration to me and of course Star Wars ;D ! John Williams is the man (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXGIRjwS4mw)!

Apart from that, I'm going to pay a visit to the Funstore (https://funstores.playmobil.com/funstore-berlin) in Berlin, excited for that too! :woohoo:

It's charming that you managed to "give a fresh coat of paint" to retro klickies! Your circus is not going to be understaffed for sure, judging by the klickies you are showing.

Thanks to both of you, some of the vintage klickies really have nice torsos, but I don't like the old style of legs. So whenever I see the opportunity to update those old legs, I take it!

It seems you kinda predicted the future: Circus Playmo (https://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=17574.0)! Although I like more the Romani circus... Nevertheless, some nice additions to my circus collection!

I had 3 wonderful evenings in Berlin, the concerts where amazing! Finally I got the chance to see the Maestro, who had a lot of positive energy! I have never witnessed such flawless playing before, overall it sounded astonishing! The Superman March is now available for streaming and on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3bmewua1I24). Here's a picture of the second evening:

Apart from the sightseeing I also went to the Playmobil Funstore, but nothing special there...

Recently I went to the vendor exposition in Sliedrecht (the Netherlands), which was much more interesting! But, I was more overwhelmed by the huge Playmobil store in the station of Breda: Happy Station (https://www.happyplaymobil.nl/)! My goodness, I regret I didn't hear of it before! It's a heaven for klickies and parts, I will definitely visit that shop again:

To me, nothing beats the safety net on Romani. The tent is nice, but completely off if you want to play or see what's inside, so, Romani wins the circus battle for me, by FAR.

You could take off the tent of course, they should have made an optional tent for the Romani circus too, I think it would have been great! Nevertheless, Romani will always have a special place in my mind (too), since it was my first theme collection.

Yip! And fair prices! Only 1h30 from Amsterdam by train, definitely worth the trip!
