A new part number!  Martin, can you confirm that the "Wig: policewoman, blonde" is 30 03 5020?

It's on the invoice and I got the number ordered, so I guess it must be, but where did I get the number to order it? I thought I'd have got it through these pages...   ???

I wanted these various coloured ponytail wigs for my Royal Navy sailors.

This order arrived yesterday, with the hope of almost completing my Roman Army theme, but disaster - the 30 00 2692 signifer figures have come with painted ladies' arms!

They're getting returned, whether for a refund or replacement I don't yet know. Can't have these 4 wrong guys in an army exceeding 250 figures. Happily I have enough spares to stand in as signifers for now, and may use customised figures for several of my signifers.

Quite a lot of foodtuffs on this order, plus beer barrels with taps, and tables and benches. Could it be I'm planning a feast?

I was pleased to get the ox-harness and canopy parts from the set Mark mentioned recently, I really didn't expect these to still be available.

Sadly the images are no longer available Martin. I am interested in possibly placing a DS order (with the help from someone here perhaps  :-[ ), so would really like to see your order format again.

I had to clear out a load of old Photobucket images to make room for new stuff - sorry!

Glad to find this thread as ordering is taking so much time and usually with little success. Any advice would be appreciated for US part orders. Cheers! 8}

Hi!

I've never ordered parts from DS services... The pictures aren't available anymore, but I get the idea of the info we need to put on the order.....However I just want to understand the steps we go through.....

first / we send them an order with all the info (part numbers, quantity, etc..)
second / they send us an invoice for the parts they have in stock
third / we pay the invoice
fourth / we wait...
fifth / we wait again...
sixth / the package is in our mailbox....

Does these seem the reality?

Thanks!

No.
1.You call to ask about the parts you're not so sure about if they're still in stock.
2.You fill out your order, partsnumbers, setnumbers, quantity needed.
3.You post your order.
4.About 6 a 7 workdays later you get a neat little-or large...-package in the mail.
5.You do a little "happy dance".
6.You pay the envoice.

At least that's how it works for me. ;)

The system appears to vary from country to country, in fact.
