changing boots or peg leg
« on: October 16, 2013, 05:10:23 »
I just bought pirate 6389, and I intended to swap his legs for those of a peg leg pirate. What I didn't realise is that 6389 is a heftier clicky, and the peg legs came from a more slender klicky, and when I attach them, there's an odd-looking gap under his belly. I have two options I'm thinking of. One, is there any way to just remove the boots and peg and reattach them short of just sawing them off and gluing them back on, which may ruin stability? or two, do you know of a peg legged pirate that is one of the more hefty ones?

The legs and boots and peg leg  are produced in a single mould, so it's cutting them off and gluing them back on.

As Gordon said, sawing and glueing is the only method.
There are no fat peglegged figures, only slender ones.
