I've been planning on showing you this set for a couple of months now...

Its a nice medium set, with very nice colours ...
and a beautiful animal

I consider the worst thing to deal with in a playmobil set to be the wheels of a vehicle...
I hate the part when I need to insert the hub in the tire.. I dont have strong fingers so I have to place the tires in place with my teeth :-[
(http://i1176.photobucket.com/albums/x335/Baldthar/4832/DSC02954.jpg)
But I always love the part where I can take out the wheels by pulling out the retainers with the wheel removel tool :D

Its the second jeep of this kind I have purchased, first being the 3140 - Jeep With Horse Trailer (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=3140) back when I was a kiddo and i like the seats on the back of the new jeep...
the klikcy is also fantastic!! I really love the new klicky designs!!!

and now to load the rhino ;D
(http://i1176.photobucket.com/albums/x335/Baldthar/4832/DSC02960.jpg)
Its better to have the trailer attached to the jeep other wise poor trailer will feel like a seesaw

and a final pic of the whole set...

Now, off to get the rest of the new jungle/safari sets ;D ;D ;D
Thanks for reading!!! :)

Lovely set Panos, I really like the clicky and the rhino.
But I'd prefer a plain colored jeep instead of those giraffe-like markings. :(
-
Great review, Panos!
I've been looking at that set ever since the safari series came out but don't have a big enough safari collection...
-
Great review, Panos! The safari sets are the best!!!!
I use that jeep in my zoo... well, I have a couple of them, actually, :-[ and the giraffe print is great for that. I hope your reviews make others go out and support the safari theme. ;D
-
That was a great review, Panos :wow:! It really makes me want to get this set!
Ace :brownhair:

Thanks, Panos, for a great review and, as you say, that klicky is fantastic.

:) Frustrating indeed, had the same experience with the amphibious truck 4844. Took me more then once to get te rim right.
Nice review, hope you don't review more sets from the Safari theme ;)
I liked the theme already.....if i see more of it I'm heading for a toystore probably

Really? It's what I like the most about it... Though those seats look nice too - I don't have one of these.. Uhm. I do have a bunch of the old ones, which I think are very nice...
-
Thanks guys! I am glad you liked it!

well, you never know... there are a few other review underway... but not of safari sets

It would be interesting to see if these backseats fit an old jeep version...
-
A pretty nice set, but if the jeep was plain instead of coming with that giraffe pattern it would be nicer.
-
Great review, Panos! :)9
I've got this set, and personally think that the colouring/patterns are a bit OTT, but the back seats I do love
I think I tried to fir them before in to an older jeep, but modifications to the rear tub need to be made if I can remember rightly :-\
Damo :)

Thanks Damo! What you say abotu the back seats sounds interesting... I have to dig out my old jeep to have a look... but since its quite burried in my tubs I prefer to postpone it ...

Of course, if they had legs off the back that they could place on the ground to steady the vehicle then we wouldn't have this problem...
You would just need to remember to pick up the legs BEFORE driving off with your trailer...

nice review, Panos
i hate that vehicles don't come put together...
i love the entire set except the rhino - i like the original rhino better :cloud9:

I like this new version, he's kinda... sweet.
But I also prefer the old one, more brutish, as a rhino is supposed to be, IMO... like a tank!
Love them both.. and the baby too... Need to get another of those add ons.
