Siemens AG has commissioned a Playmobil set to celebrate the creation of the firm in 1847 in Berlin: Telegraphen-Bauanstalt von Siemens & Halske. Founding fathers were Werner von Siemens (1816–1892), his cousin Johann Georg Siemens (1805–1879), and Johann Georg Halske (1814–1890) (source: britannica.com), so I assume two of these gentlemen are depicted here.

The item is sold to Siemens employees and is said to be made available in the Playmobil webshop at a later date.

I love these historical sets, shame they are such a pain to get ahold of.

Lovely set - good if it's available on the web shop (honestly expected it to be only available in some tiny German town where they were born)

Great looking set
-
Some fabulous torso prints there!
*grumbles at international shipping costs*

I wonder if those will be available on other playmoshops, or just Germany... Time to nag! :-[
