Klickys that don’t stand well - is there a fix?

(1/2) > >>

CrimsonCleaver:
We have a couple of pirate Klickys that don’t stand straight as solid as others. They sort of lean forward (if that makes sense).
This can be a source of frustration for my son as they tip over when holding cutlasses/blunderbusses etc sometimes.

Other than accepting them as quenching their thirst with tavern grog too often - is there a fix for this?
Is it the internal ‘skeleton’ of the Klickys that could be the issue?

Yes, replacing the frame should sort that...

CrimsonCleaver:
Thanks Tahra, i think that will be the use of the free gifts from Playmobil online purchases.

I just found in this thread:

‘Slouch’, amazes me how my brain just forgot that term.  Will give that a go first then replace the skeleton if doesn’t help.

CrimsonCleaver:
So I gave the screwdriver down side a go.  I’ll have to find a better screwdriver for this in future.  First one caused quite a few nicks to the trousers, and second though better, shaved the white frame quite a bit. Looks slightly messy now, but thankfully it’s the black legs of one of the characters from 4007 so immediately not noticeable.

The grog slouch is now fixed though!  Just kept bending the back white clip forward whilst leaving the rest of the Klicky as it is.

Will look to get another screwdriver and fix the other one at a later date.

Update: I have no self control (guess hand in hand with starting to collect things) - so used second drive again with tape on end but still nicked the legs.  If anyone has recommendations on polishing/smooth out that kinda thing be appreciated

Since I can't do it with my bare hands (and it's a far from universal method anyways!), my recommended safest method is the popper: https://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=12000.0

I've popped hundreds (a thousand?) of klickys, and I can probably count on my fingers the .. accidents.

So, while not the fastest method, I find it the most universal and the safest.

We could mention whacking, yanking, and... krakked? and ... neoconned? :P
