The mermaid as a Siren? Will there also bee some creeks? (Odysseus et. al.?) Interesting that they relaunched the mermaid topic again as special ... and recently as the Nordsee special.

Hmmm ... Jochen, untersee ... ???
Maybe an ancient under the sea theme ... ???
Do you think that we can dare to hope for a "Lost Atlantis" theme?
Or, maybe even a "Captain Nemo - Nautilus" theme?

And, as for the Egyptians ...
Has our friend Gordon Smuder once again influenced Zirndorf?

Hello all,

I haven't posted yet on this forum, so how nice that my first post is a comment on a pirate! Woohoo! A NEW pirate - not just a re-packaging of an old pirate! I am VERY excited to see it.

The Cleopatra is wonderful, as is the Gladiator - and at our house at least the Siren will get rave reviews!

The best batch of specials in a VERY VERY long time, IMO.

And Dracula will be available again - very cool.

Thanks to matchboxluc and customizer for the info and photos!

Henry

CAPTAIN HENRY ... It's great to see you!

Had a feeling that the new pirate might get you a bit excited ... ;)

Hope to see lots more of you here at PF!

I must have the mermaid and gladiator.. but Cleo's makeup scares me.  I may also have to get the pirate to sit on a shelf and pretend to be Jack Sparrow... he seems quite inspired by POTC.

Yay! I think this is the most exciting and varied line-up of Specials that's been offered at one time since I started collecting! I want them all! :D

Cleopatra's face will take some getting used to, but I like that they took a small risk and made something so different to the usual klicky style. Could well be that they were referring back to Gordon Smuder's suggested designs, Richard. There's quite a similarity in the faces. ;)

Out of all of them, the mermaid is my favourite. She is stunning! :love:

Thanks for the news and pics, Jean-Luc and Andi. It's very much appreciated! 8-)

However, I think that I like Gordon's better. I also agree with Sylvia when she says, "Cleopatra's face will take some getting used to." And, I agree with Hoppatussa as well when she said, "Cleo's makeup scares me." ... 8}

I wonder if Cleopatra will scare the children who play with Playmobil? I know that I've never gotten use to the female Klicky's eyebrows and eye lashes ...  :o

However as Sylvia  said, "... but I like that they took a small risk and made something so different to the usual klicky style." Which is a BIG step for Zirndorf!

All the best and thanks again, Jean Luc and Andi,
Richard

What?  She looks like a typical, American, pre-teen girl.   8}

What IS it with pre-teen girls that think the only eye makeup is black mascara and LOTS of black eye-liner?  My Mom was smart, she convinced me that eye-liner was just too much trouble.  :P

So ... what else goes with black? Black hair, black top, black skirt (or pants, or shorts), black shoes (or boots or sandals), black socks (or stockings), black fingerless gloves, black underwear (if any), black fingernails, and ...

Well at least Playmobil's Cleo is wearing white ... ;)
