To me it seems like the nicest dragon they released so far.  :)

It's nice, I like some aspects of it, but I don't like the way it stays low to the ground and can't sit up very high. Likewise I don't like the hands that can't grip objects in the same way as a klicky. My favorite is still the first really large black dragon.

nice buys, though i'm not into Castle that much. The dragon and the dwarf with treasure i like the most.

the dragon actually reminds me a lot of the "Efteling draak"

Me too, I think that's why I like this one so much  :)  It's the archetypical dragon, in my mind!

Same here yes, I grew up with that dragon! I am pretty sure they based it on him. I'd imagine some of the design team may have visited the Efteling after all considering that german tourists often flood the country.

That's cool! :) I definitely see the resemblance.

Aye, that's how I felt when I first saw it too. :)

And those are some reasons why I was a bit hesitant. I've yet to have time open it though!

I found more of the 5166 DuoPack. :D

I've thought of a few ideas for what to do with the figures after pillaging them for parts. As I mentioned, the red figures are great for many factions. I've turned some of mine into crossbowmen for now.

I was also trying to think of what to do with the blue figures. I don't particularly like either of the new faction designs (and consequently the shields from the set), and I wasn't sure of the gold and silver clash on these figures at first. But... then I tried a few things, and I came up with the idea to make some of them into dual swordsmen.

I also thought they would make a nice addition to the unicorn knights. :)

Oh, I quite like that dual swordsmen idea, I might have to borrow that sometimes for a clicky.  :)

Just the other day I got the new Mongolian figure and his back seems a mess with a quiver and a large sheathe for his katana, this seems like a better use for such a neckpiece.

Thanks, Rhalius. :) I have a few figures like that. Several of my Green Dragon knights have the same swords.

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. ;) I don't have one of those yet, but that is a bit much putting that large sheath with a quiver. The small weapon holder isn't so bad though.

What is holding the two swords on his back? I haven't bought any knights in a long time, so I'm not sure if it's something new, or a piece I'm forgetting or ...?
