Not in the US that I know of. But there have been some great exhibitions in european countries! If you search through the community events board, you will find discussions and pics from some of these, I believe.

If something happens on the east coast, I'll be a lot more likely to go to that, than all the way to california. I can contribute a diorama if it's closer, because I can drive and bring my playmobil with me.

It will also depend on costs of fuel, location, etc., with prices of fuel predicted to go to $5.00 & above here, flights & travel will be more difficult to arrange.
