Title: Hair, hair and NO HAIR
Post by: bootgypsy on February 07, 2012, 13:04:01
I hope i am posting this in the right place...

I am looking to replace some hair (back to the original "correct" hair) on klickies i bought in a lot. Can anyone tell me how and if i can order hair?
oh, I am in the US if that matters.
thanks so much!

I think some hair pieces (like the "wigs" from the hairdresser) had their own partnumbers.. Have no idea if they're available though.

Ages ago there was a "hair add on", but long gone. A real shame.

As far as I know, most hair is part of the klicky these days, and not available as a separate order... If you find out otherwise, I'm interested too - need one of those ridiculous new hairs from the officers in the pirate theme ;)

Hi bootgypsy,
You will find playmodb.org to be the absolute resourse for themes, sets, accessories and part numbers'
Here is what you can fing on hair part numbers: 30 09 6180 - Wig (hair), classic male (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30096180) by scrolling down, you will find a great variety of hair that have their own part number. Since DS service is available in the US, I believe you can order them.

Tahra:  ;) see? there are many hair that can be ordered individualy  ;D I guess your wallet hurts?

Last I looked it was a small amount, compared to what exists... I could be wrong...

(and yes, my wallet hurts.. worse, I think it plans on hurting ME!)

Last time I tried to order hair, I tried ordering all of the non-hat hair types that have part numbers, and only one type was available. (can't remember which one at the moment. :-[) But I haven't tried any of the hat hair types, so some may be available.

Thank you so much Heather  :)

 As I find them I'll add them in.  They actually have their own part sub-category: PlaymoDB Part Categories - Wearable (Hair) (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/category.pl?sortby=description&page=1&category=Wearable-Hair&pics=on). Some have links to the "Who's That Klicky" search result for that hairpiece; some say they are sub-parts of some klickies. (Trying to get this organized, making slow but steady progress!) Any photos to fill in my gaps would be appreciated.

Interestingly enough, numbers for other klicky body parts (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/category.pl?sortby=description&page=1&category=Klicky-Body+Part&pics=on) are showing up in the code for the online-ordering pages on http://www.playmobil.fr, and I'll add them too as I identify them. (Photos also needed here.) So far, they all seem to be parts of Fi?ures series 1; coincidence, I wonder?

wow thanks I will check my list in a bit and get back to you.

also i thought i had checked playmodb and not found separate #s for hair...all the ones i need are "hat" hair...lol I don't think it is more than 5 or so total. I know one is the white male hair that goes on the King Merman! i have his beard, but no hair...some one had made him a girl!

I will check the DB link and then let you know what i am looking for in case you have extras!
thanks everyone!

If you can, show a factory picture of the figure to us, or post a picture of the beard in your possession. There are gray, & pure white hat hair wigs available for different figures.

also while you guys are being so helpful i have another question

i have the mistress of the small victorian house (5305) who is missing her hat ( 30 06 329 ) as well as the feathers which go on said hat. The feathers were not listed with a part # in the playmodb, that i saw anyway.

Do you think they might be 30 03 587 ? or do you have any other suggestions?? ???

A word of advice, when the Playmobil part number only has 7 numbers like 30 03 587, always add a zero on the end to make it 8 numbers. It should be 30 03 5870 ;).

That's an indication it's a pretty old part number. The older they are the less likely to be available. There are exceptions of course for parts in continuous use. The most recent parts have a 2 at the end instead of the 0 and I think I've seen a few with a 3 now as well.

lot of parts have different new numbers. u should check with the DS.

for example the T- Connector of the 5301. old number is in db 30249700 the new number is: 30262030. i guess a lot of items have this. ask them to investigate. its actually their job! :)
