Hello everyone,
This a picture of another triplane I made. It was made the same way as the Red Baron's. I have made around thirty various model flying machines in "Playmobil" scale. Fun stuff.
Best regards,
Jim

That's mighty fine, again. I like it, especially the pilot who is presumably PM.
-
Great again. 30 different ones? How long have you been making scratch items for Playmo?
-
Another terrific addition to the Playmo air force!
I notice you said "flying machines" and not airplanes. Have you made any lighter-than-air or other type of non-plane aircraft?

Hello, Jim ...
All of your models are beautiful !!!
Your Playmobil aeroplanes are MAGNIFICENT !!!
... :wow: ... :wow: ... :wow: ... :wow: ... :wow: ...
Thank you very much for sharing your models with us.
All the best,
Richard

You can put up some huge dogfights with all those cool plane of yours ;D

Thanks all, for the nice comments. They are very inspiring!
Hello, Tiermann. I have been making scratch built items for a long, long, time.
If Playmobil did not make something wanted, I made one, and sent the picture
to Playmobil U.S.A., and they forwarded it to Germany. I am a retired aircraft mechanic,('bout 40 years), so making the Playmobil airplanes was a hoot.
Ahoy Captain Henry. I thought of making a PM helium balloon, but haven't yet.
I have stayed with vintage planes mostly, with a goofy one thrown in now and again.
Also ships and the sea have always fascinated me.

WOW!
What's it made of? Wood or plastic? Its fantastic.
-
Superb! :wow:
I find it amazing that you can build such intricate models yourself without using some kind of kit.
You're very skillful! :yup:

Hi Dan.
The planes are made out of plywood, and various hardwoods. Kinda simple actually.

Thanks Sylvia and Dan,
Makes me want to build another one!
All the best,
Jim
