King Adermaign of Melnibone would like to give the King of Krull a couple of catapults as a tokken of our trade friendship.  The trade minister would like to send a siege tower as payment for another shipment of Krull Ale.

These are indeed gifts of fine manufacture,
but let us trade for them instead.
For them Rutileo shall give also 1 Rutilian star with a few other assorted jewels. :hatoff:

Rutileo thanks Krull for the gift, :hatoff:
and in turn sends a cart full of Jewels to Krull.
Most significant of jewels is the Rutilian star,
a type of gem so rare and beautiful that it grows only on Rutileo,
and even then, it is extremely hard to find, and obtain. :)
Rutileo thinks the glowing red jewel will serve for a grant attraction
at the soon wedding between Krull and the Empire's princess.
And would serve well as a pendant on the princess. :wow:

..and Krull welcomes the Jewels and the red jewel will be used in the royal marriage between Krull and the Empire !!!!!

.. and Iseroth of Krull accepts with grace this grand present. These catapults and siege tower will add to the 30 or so catapults of Krull and 6 Siege Machines and are mostly welcomed by Engineering. The chief engineer noticed and mentioned to Sir General Agnar the high quality and craftmanship of these machines. King Iseroth most pleased with these gifts orders for a large shipment of Krull to be despatched to King Adermaign. Along with it some of krulls sausages and ham ( see the pics of my mediaval set up and stores ...) to accompany the strong famus Ale . He also sents 20 swords of fine North Krull steel, the strongest of the land , famous for slaugheting dragons and other dark beasts throughout the ages ....  One of the sword is decorared with jewels and bears a message engraved and signed from King Iseroth himself ' To the great King of Melnibone, King Adermaign from King Iseroth ' ( OOC : Sorry i cant post any pics I am 60km away from my playmoden ...)

Dear King Leopold of Belathre,
King Adermaign of Melnibone would like to open trade between our Kingdoms.

Great pictures Elric!!

(here is my "slightly" long winded reply)

I assume your messengers came over the big sea between our Kingdoms. (WoT that sea needs a name I think)Actually the Belathre kingdom is only the southern part of "MY" blue area. The Northwestern blue part that is on "our" sea is actually inhabited by tribes of unruly barbarians/vikings. Which have hardly heard of Belathre, This area is of land (and sea) is avoided by most people, there is some trade happening here though.

Therefore I think you will have come through  Galadorn (Justindo's lands) to approach Belathre from the West. The Northwestern Duchy of Belathre is called Pilyorck and is ruled by Baron Halldor Laruns, a nephew of King Leopold (Son of the Kings Brother). The yellow has been dropped and there is more focus on the red of the Royal Coat of Arms (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=3699).

When you come into the Pilyorck lands you quickly spot a holdfast your messengers are received most graciously and they escort you to the capitol, Heslarand. Once there Baron Halldor arranges for you to cross the Nentir river and an audience with the one of the King's counselors.

The offer of trade is graciously accepted and after a well deserved rest your messengers are on their way again. On the morning of their departure from Erundas (Capitol of Belathre) the guards are given a Velvet box which holds a twin set of daggers. On is very slim and elegant whereas the other is very stout. Even though their distinct differences they are most certanly a pair. The person bringing you this gift is one of the counselors (sorry no name yet, need to work on MUCH of the background details yet).

"Please accept this pair of Magical daggers as a gift for your King and Queen. They are masterwork items from the dwarves of Hammerfast, enchanted by our most esteemed Wizards. I am sure our trade will be fruitful>" With that he bows and bids you farewell.

(If there is no Queen, then only one dagger will be given)

There is a Queen but I have not introduced her yet.

I will have to work on getting the correct heraldry.  This set will not be out until next year here in the US.

Sorry to stick my oar in here, :-[ but I have a quick suggestion. It might make it easier if you always used italics when speaking in character, and normal print when out of character. That way it might be easier to keep it straight.

:wow:
