Finnegan's Toys & Games in downtown PDX has series 6 and I felt out a Scotsman about five bags in! It was the cloak that did it, with confirmation from the ridges on the shoulder detail. $3!
Unfortunately I couldn't get certainty on a Chinese lady, which is the only other figure from this series I really want. (My Chinese warlord from the last series needs a girlfriend.) I just bit the ebay bullet for one a minute ago. So it goes!
NB the Scotsman's cloak is NOT the same as the Roman toga. It's differently molded, is rigid, and is not split, so I had to put it on during figure assembly and don't foresee easy swapping out.
But all in all I am pretty happy. I wonder what thought process led geobra to go with a Braveheart type instead of the more usual kilted-and-sporraned 19th century type?
In a PM world that is increasingly "X-TREEM" (Asian Dragon theme, I'm looking right at you), the subdued historical realism of this Scotsman is a blast of refreshing air. Oh may the powers that be enable another historically accurate theme along the lines of Egypt, Rome and Vikings...
