I hope it comes available regularly at some point. It seems unlikely they would do a print run for such a small number. Obviously I need it for my jousting knights collection but if there really end up being just 100 it will be near impossible. It's a nice look.

I have more free space on my walls than I do anywhere else.

That's not quite so true any longer, as I've become an arteeest & am filling up my walls with Playmo. Amazon Prints does a very good job, though I had to learn to compose within their system at first. The frames are also Amazon & uber-cheap.

News / Müller Black Knight exclusive

When talking about the Golden Jubilee Knight 71604, I gloomily predicted

I suspect it's also going to be their last, ever :(

Luckily I was wrong.

This Black Knight was commissioned by the retailer Müller Handels GmbH & Co and is currently not on sale. Reportedly, the firm has hidden no more than 100 of them in boxes of regular anniversary knights (71604) that are sold in their shops. The lucky finder wins this exclusive figure plus a number of other treats, including free access to the Fun Park. As such it is virtually impossible to get a black knight if you set out to find one (as I would like to do), but it is quite likely that the Black Knight will also be sold by the store at a later date. I certainly hope so.

More details at Klickywelt (including pics made by one lucky finder).

Best wishes
StJohn

That's a great bit of custom work. It looks excellent in the scene.

The box sizes have noticeable changed in the last year or two. They are different shapes and have less air in most of them. Some will always be oversized because certain big pieces just won't fit in the smaller dimensions.

How’s the shipping fees to the US
International shipping is really high. Playmobil.de doesn't ship international, you have to have it shipped to a German address and then get it reshipped. I do buy sets off of Amazon.de and have them shipped to me in the US which they will do for most Playmobil. For regular sets shipping is still high but the discounts compared to buying full price from Playmobil US make it just slightly more expensive than list price. Since some sets never make it here it's worth it to me for core interests like animal sets for Animobil.

I too thought it was that but then it makes little sense

If a sets box is able to fit 2 in the same space as 1 then there is a major space savings

Lots of sets I bought can easily fit the contents into a box 1/2 the size

I think if you check box sizes you will find that there is a relationship to make the fullest use of space of available space when shipping.

It is no secret playmobil does not welcome foreign money.

Fixed it for you

True. But they treat non-german customers as several degrees of garbage.
