yes it took me a while about 10 minutes ..
i love them all offcourse the best playmo theme eveeeeeeer ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
WOW !!!
That wasn't easy ... I voted for almost half of them (15 sets)!
IMHO ... This is one of the best Playmobil themes ever made !!!
-
yeah.. I would say all of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Only the "truly" military sets for me, the #5580 and #5405. The Victorian sets really don't do much for me.
-
I am missing my most fav. Victorian sets in the line-up though ...
Where are the Victorian Market sets ???

really? :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: why? what's your fav. theme ?

The Victorian line, however nice it is (and I think it's one of Geobra's most developed lines), doesn't really rock my boat. I don't think I can say that have a "favorite" theme, just quite a few that I like a lot, like Romans, Medieval and now the Rescue/Firemen theme. Truth be told, I like a lot at least one set of all themes, but not enough to invest in many.

I chose to vote for only my absolute favorite.
The 5305.

Hello, WoT ...
Just curious about what makes you like the small Victorian house (5305) more than the large Victorian house (5300)?

It just seems more homey. :)
And I really like the front steps.
Although there is more you can do with the 5300,
I think i still prefer the 5305.
-
so many great sets!! so difficult to choose!!! I must have ticked at least 10... (and yes most include the military related klickies)

Good answer, WoT! Thank you.

So far the Victorian Truck (5640) seems to be in the lead.
Hmmm ... It appears that Zirndorf knew what we liked when they made 4083 ... ;)

When did they make that truck Richard? :D
-
I finally voted for
both houses! the living room with the maid (i love that one!) the photographer, the painter, the car and the truck!
I couldn't pick one!
-

WoT, looking at Andi's review HERE (http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=991.0), it looks like the Karstadt truck was made sometime around 2006!

Thanks Richard! :wow:
Do we know if it is still in production? ???
I guess not.

WoT, Playmobil made it as an exclusive for the Karstadt department store in Germany. Unfortunately, the only place that you could probably find one now would be on eBay.
Maybe the new PCC will suggest that Playmobil re-make the Victorian truck and automobile.

Yes! :woohoo:

I like both houses and the furniture, the yellow bedroom is my favorite. One of the best sets offered IMHO is 7411, the expansion floor. You can do so much with the parts. I too wish they would reissue the trucks, they are so neat and hard to come by. :'(

I was lucky enough to find one complete in box blue truck in buenos aires a year and a half ago and paid for it 87 dollars. I don't know if it's cheap or not but I couldn't let the chance go by. I love that truck!!! I want the green now!
-
From the prices I see around the internet, it looks like that was a pretty decent price.

Oh and I must add that for the price, the guy brought it himself to my very living room! door to door service!

Here is the only one on US ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/PLAYMOBIL-4083-VICTORIAN-TRUCK-RUDOLPH-KARSTADT-MIB-HTF-/280592404650?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item41549c50aa

What great sets- they came out when I first started "collecting", rather than strictly playing...
Though I didn't have much money, and most of it went to the old knights sets...
But 5505, one of the few I did get, will always have a soft spot- Great park bench, bare feet, and one of the most politically incorrect toys ever!
-
Without hesitation the splendid Victorian Mansion which still remains one of the most amazingly crafted "toy" ever created
Mine is 20 years old and still looking stunning :cloud9:

Long coveted, and just recently purchased, I voted for #5551. Still, it was a hard decision!

:o :o :o
But I am glad that no-one has made an offer yet ... $140,- ; that's just silly.
-
my absolute favorite are the ladies in the hat shop!! i didn't see it on the poll.
-
Fantastic sets all of them, I love them all, I choose 6 of them after a very hard thought. Difficult decision.
-
Voted for various sets, I want to get them all hopefully when my medieval/ steck addiction calms a a bit i shall focus in buying some much desired Victorian sets.....
-
I tried to narrow it down to about a dozen sets. I really like the Victorian theme and truly regret not buying many of the sets when they first came out. This really was one of the best Playmobil themes.
-
all of them are beautiful, especially the original sets (the ones on list), so i can't pick just one - i like the market sets as well, it was a good idea by PM...a fresh second generation to keep the theme alive. Too bad they're all gone now, I'm still looking for that kid with the dog drawn red cart - it's not an exceptional set but it's a must have

Karim :)
it is the one you have in your photostories? the older one i have is the one i had as a kid it's 10 years old today and it's all yellow ??? how you kept your's so clean all these years you had it in a showcase? :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:
-
I found it very difficult to narrow down, I love all the Victorian sets. I eventually voted for 16 :-[
Like WoT, I also love the smaller mansion - I have enough 'spares; to build the actual mansion, but I'd love to get hold of the steps for it.
