Is There a New Phoenix?
« on: January 23, 2020, 00:00:23 »
I ask the question because I've seen the following:

I've looked on Ebay but've found nothing.

It’s very likely that it’s a custom
I'm glad that I'm not the only one :)

The picture of Oliver Schaffer is from a recent German exposition, while the poster is from an expo in Spain, which is why I'm wondering what's up.

Oliver has lots of custom stuff in his displays, so I am sure the red one is custom. I think the other is as well.
I do think long term there will definitely be a red phoenix come out, probably in the add-ons catalog though it could be elsewhere. It's super obvious, and having Oliver show one will get it into their minds. The company definitely watches what is going on in the shows.

Sometimes it looks like they need someone to make a drawering for them. Just sayin'

I mean... what's the first thing that comes to mind with that blue chick?! SERIOUSLY?!

They took their own sweet time figuring those were elves...

How many more blue/blueish/purple/greenish/blue/green wizards must we have before they do the obvious GREY and WHITE?!

Well yeah, the red troll happened in a limited availability set and then never has made it into the add-ons assortment even though it should be obvious. Especially when they sold a bunch through the parts department.

And then it appeared in several playmostores, ours included..

Money, you know...

The phoenix on the spanish poster seems really interesting even if the three kings more or less look like pretty bad "photoshopping".

I also am a bit confused about the two pictures (the reason for that could be that I am very new here  but I am curious anyway)...

...how do they fit together or is it just to show the two different models?

Maybe somebody has a clue and also knows where the customs come from or if it maybe could really be a future phoenix.
