There was a special arrival last week & the classic ladies were very excited to welcome her & say hello (well, most of them were)..

Widow Gorman was eager to make everyone a cup of tea.
Mrs Green always had something to complain about..
& then, the horror! Widow Gorman's back went from bowing to greet the new arrival.
Will Mrs Green ever stop complaining? Will Widow Gorman's back recover? Will anyone ever get a cup of tea? & who will clean up the spilled coffee!?!
Oh! The drama! The suspense! :o 8} :lol:

Occasionally, but don't tell the klickies. They might worry. ;)
Sadly Widow Gorman suffers from DKB syndrome (dicky klicky back) & has some problems straightening up if she's been bending for a while, looks like she's not the only one..
Mrs Goethe's back also suffered from all the formal bowing. Luckily Ms Gonzalez is very skilled at helping to ease the symptoms of DKB syndrome & was happy to help out.
Looks like Mrs Gelb & Mrs Green are the mean ladies of the group. *sigh*

Eventually, after a a bit of rest, Widow Gorman's back eased up & she made a fresh pot of tea.
Mrs Goethe is feeling very welcomed into the community & looking forward to getting to know everyone (I guess she wasn't aware of Mrs Green & Mrs Gelb's mean mutterings). :-\

Great little series. Loose interior frames are such a trial, there are ways of fixing it though I have often resorted to a complete frame-ectomy to fix the problem.

Thanks :heart: Some of the ladies are a little slouchy, but I think that's forgiveable for their age! I did give one of the guys I'd had for years a frame-ectomy a while ago because he was VERY floppy, but generally I don't mind a bit of a slouch.
I know in theory some of them might not have their original frames (if they got altered before they made it to my nerdy little mitts) but I like them having all their original (at least as far as I'm aware) parts. All that bloomin' data from Mr GrahamB doesn't help & makes me more tempted to leave them au naturale, slouch & all.. ;) I have been meaning to have a go at some slouch correction though.

(Almost) everyone was very friendly & Gottfried felt so warmly welcomed! He loved that his welcome party (almost) formed a rainbow.

:lol: I don't think I've taken a photo of the non-fixed wrist classic guys yet, so an introduction to Mr Goethe & friends is yet to come.. I'm sure he will be especially welcoming to see someone from the motherland.
