This is the one theme that’s tempting me to go beyond Pirates (as not too many sets of it!)

The Advent Calendar is a re-worked viking longboat used as an ancient pirate ship. It's been posted before but the crew of the pirate ship in the Asterix comics is modeled after a French comic about pirates called Redbeard (Barbe-Rouge).

That set is tempting. I actually acquired the moustached pirate from it via DS as something a little unique.

Great sets and photos. Much nicer than the bald guy from 300.

That gold harness strap that joins the two red harnesses needs straightening or it could be damaged long term.
