It's aimed at adults them, judging by that promotional video. Hours of fun, invite your friends round for a Trekkie evening, impress them with the sound effects. And let slip how much it cost.

The owner of the ship seems to live alone while his gang sits on the other side of the table... Did his partner leave after they saw what it cost?

Or.. That one IS the partner, because the buyer was murdered by the wallet when the price was known..  :P
