Hello Friends,
recently I thought it would not be bad if the XXL figures (60 cm) also had buildings.
I have considered the Playmobil plug system to build in XXL.
At the beginning a bit calculated, then consider what kind of material do I take ??
It should be fast to build, from cheap materials and easy to transport and also easy to recycle?!
At Christmas I had worked a lot with Styrofoam for my diorama which worked very well.
The first plates bought in the hardware store and tried .......
SOME WORDS:
It's just a test, a prototype, everything looks even after Dalmatian pattern. (currently no white Styrofoam with us): rolleyes
Also, I have not incorporated any masonry and colored it looks simple.
But everything will come.
I want to look first it works!
It should be as close as possible to the original and 100% compatible as the original !!
So also double storey etc.
A dream of mine is later to build a half-timbered house.
BUT let's start with "SMALL".
With a tower for the Lord Knight.
-
So the first step is made the corner connector, he has a height of about 110 cm.
I work with a multiplier of 8.
7.5 cm x 8 = 60 cm !!
So far, everything works as expected!
More soon.......

(don't give me any ideas!! And don't let my Knight see that!!)
-
Let´s continue ....
Next we come to the "window wall element II"
Something more complex like a corner connector but it went fast.
Playmobil saves on the back a little of plastic, my front and back are identical.
Which makes the part more stable.
The wall structure and ornament comes as soon as all 4 walls are.
ENJOY !!
-
Small information about the window wall element:
Height: approx. 113 cm, width: approx. 64 cm, weight: just 675 g !!
Then a look from the bottom, it should also be pluggable on each other.
So also two floors !!
More soon.......

The next element.....the WALL ELEMENT STONE is ready.
-
on the back side, the idea it´s to install a door ?!
Alternative would be the "FRAME WK.ELEMENT".
-
A new part ist ready the "Wall Connector Flat"
Wight: 120 cm !
If I think so the frame house with corner connectors have then a size of 150 cm x 150 cm floor space.
ENJOY !!
More soon...... 8}

Those giant wall pieces are very good, Customizer. In fact I thought they were regular size pieces until I noticed the leaves and flowers for scale! Your work is so precise and accurate, the results are outstanding!

Hi,
a little info about the connectors:
What I noticed in the connectors, they touch on the top and bottom of the main element.
The connecting nose in the middle, however have distance up and down.
(Don´t find the word for connecting nose ???) 8}
The chambers are not the same size, because the center of the upper and lower bridge was not calculated from the half of the chamber.
Even if a connector is an inconspicuous part, for me it is a masterpiece of Hans Beck thought through to the last detail !!
LOVE THIS STECKSYSTEM !!

I understand "connecting nose" perfectly!
(You could also call it a 'tab')
I'm loving these little details Andi!
