Dragonland and medieval suffer from some of the same problems though at the moment: just two factions (good and evil) fighting against each other. Both have a castle and troops, and theres nothing else.

To me Dragonland is medieval-ish in my opinion but it's more like a fantasy theme (just not many people seem to like to name that theme that way :P)
Dragons and floating rocks are not historically accurate, I mean it's not even realistic, it's fantasy instead - old medieval sets were realistic, that's why i think they should be in separate categories

I gues dragon land is pretty much a very poor follow up on the fantasy sets released in the mid 90's that came with wizards, flying carpets, a sorceress lair and other truly imaginative sets inspired by classical fairytales.

I'd love for them to return to that style. It had the elements of fairytales without copying any directly.

The fairy tale sets could easily be from a medieval time period too, and yet no one would argue it is the same as the knights theme. ;) I think the fantasy dragonland theme is entirely different from the regular medieval themes.
