Hi all!
I've been reading about the great siege of Malta from 1565 a lot lately, and I'm planning to recreate a scene from it in Playmo, so I made some Ottoman Janissaries customs.
I hope you like them! :)

One of the most incredible sieges of all time. :wow:
I cannot wait to see your diorama!
It will be stunning judging by your Janissaries customs.

they look great, those hats are perfect for Janissaries.
Although I am not sure if they where allowed to have beards, I thought it was only mustaches and no beards allowed but that might vary in different periods, or maybe I am mistaking it with another millitairy order.

Those look great! 8-)
Personally I'd give them different neckcollars though; no shoulder-epaulettes yet in the 16th century...
-
Very good idea.....Solimán the Magnificent must be happy... ;D

What sets did you get the pieces for the headress from?
-
The pieces are from set 4836, the dragon's dungeon, they are the headdress of the wizard.
Unfortunately these pieces (30203842 and 30203852) are not available anymore via DS.
-
Thank you. I know the one Wise King has the same head piece. But I was trying to find it in a color besides green.
-
Woah - looking forward to this when it's completed. I'm interested in that particular campaign myself :)
