You're right about the ladder. It looks like that knight could climb the wall quite easily without it. ;D
Other than that, it's quite a nicely thought-out little set.
I'm sure young kids could have a lot of fun playing with it.

I hadn't noticed it before in the releases for 2006, but when I saw andi's pictures I immediately saw it as the sort of piece which could be on a hill overlooking a town, maybe the remains of a castle. That was it could even be used with a modern town in System-X.
Looking at Playmobil.de where it shows the back of the box as well as the front if you click the front, you get a good deal for your money, something I hadn't appreciated just from andi's review. Overall, I wonder if anyone has started collecting the Supersets as a theme in themselves?

I think we'll probably get one or two of these, to use as Gordon says for outlying defenses, or smaller watchtowers on mountaintops. Besides, I am sure Merboy will want to beef up his ever-expanding Barbarian horde with the guys that come with this set! :D

It would also look good with the pirate ship cannon on it. Then it could be one of those noonday guns similar to the one at Edinburgh.

I had build a tower on it but............
it´s not realy easy to make a tower on the top ! The problem was the 3 wall item at the front and left side.
But if you cut some socket items you can build one.
Another idea was to build the tower inside the wall !

Thanks for the review Andi, I've been looking at this set in the shops, but the "big bertha" cannon has so far put me off; it doesn't really fit the medieval setting. I know they had "gunnes" but nothing this sophisticated.
It looks a nice set and good value, and I'll be picking one up the next time I see one at the right price.
