Hello everyone,
It's been a long time since I've posted anything on here (other than custom trucks) as life seems to never slow down these days.
For me, Playmobil is a stress relief. Today I made some knots and put the guys on rope.
Everything used is Playmobil besides the rope.
ENJOY!

The crew from Rescue 3 along with District 1 crews ( Eng 10, 4 and 5 with Medics 4 and 5) participated in this training.
The objective was to span a distance with rope creating a highline and be able to lower a rescuer to the victim.
-
The systems were anchored to Rescue 3 using anchor straps.
When raising the rescuer and the victim in a stokes baskets, a 4 to 1 haul system was used.
-
Once the rescuer was raised to the highline, the system was switched to allow for decent.

Back on a solid table...

Thanks for taking the time to view these pictures. I hope you enjoyed them!

Wow.. Great work!
I have a hard enough time with the very simple knots in the sets. :-[

Great to see you here again Ben!
Nice job on that, interesting to see someone use the rigging pieces that knows what they are doing.

Thanks for the comments everyone!
Tim, it was interesting that the pulleys and rope actually worked like the a real system would. Lot less walking with this... In the real world, I'm pretty sure the hual rope would have been like 400'.
