 Hello Emma,

congratulations for your work. Sure one of the best building made with Playmobil and self work I see on Internet. Be sure that I made a good publicity for your blog pages.

Kind regards,
TJ

Wow high praise indeed Tricornejock thanks very much, I constantly adore your dioramas I love what you do I'm just so jealous.

..make another one. just double the size .. i can think of one or two people who would be interested to buy one and look after it for years ...

Well if anyone wants one just ask, I could do one with an extra floor or with extended wings on the side. I did think of a chapel and a ballroom...otherwise I'll try a different design next year.

do tell!!! do tell!!! p...p..pleeeeeeeeeeeeese  :hissyfit: :hissyfit: :hissyfit: :hissyfit: :hissyfit: :hissyfit: :hissyfit:

Ok if you look up an English castle called Stokesy that's what I'm planning on next. It has a large stone tower, with long hall, an enclosed grounds and a Tudor gatehouse, I don't know if it will work I haven't had time to sit down and plan the construction yet but that's my next thing after I finish of a couple of commissions. Then I have a 3 story Tudor Manor house to finish and a medieval market. But these are things to do for the rest of the year.....
Improvise, adapt, overcome ..... If all else fails FAKE IT!

Dearest Emma

Once again you have pushed the boundaries of excellence & refinement in this Masterpiece of a Grand Mansion

The Staff quarters remind me of those of Downton Abbey which I love !

The mansion is reminiscent of the grand country houses such as Chatworth which inspired Pemberley ( Pride & Prejudice ) and the dome reminds me somehow of the magnificent dome which overlooked the grand staircase of Titanic  ;)

Everything is just perfect and of the most exquisite taste  :cloud9:

I'm looking forward to your next project.

Folks, here's another link showing the property from a different angle to the photo Gaston linked to.  I thought I knew of most of the visitable historic properties in England but I've never heard of it - to think I was visiting only a few miles from there about 18 months ago  :'(

Emma, commoing back to see this again, I noticed that you have decorated a secretair in the library with a rune like symbol that resembles the JRR Tolkein monogram... is it?
