Wow I really really wish I could find a way to get there.  I agree with Ras in asking that anyone who goes please take plenty of pics!

Wow, great news and I will certainly be going (45 minutes away for me).
Lego has a yearly event in Holland for many years now, which are a huge success. Usually in the town of Zwolle I think.
I guess the folks at playmobil finally realised this might work for them as well. I am very curious.

The Jaarbeurs convention halls are in Utrecht. IF you fly to Amsterdam Airport (Schiphol), you can get to these halls within the hour max. Very good train connections.
You can also fly to Rotterdam Airport (Zestienhoven), but this airport has no direct train connection so that will take you longer, but you probably can still manage within two hours to get to Utrecht.

This event looks fantastic and is only 2 or 3 hour drive from where I live in Germany.
I hope to make it.

One question:

Life-size PLAYMOBIL figurines will teach children the latest PLAYMOBIL

I think the dances and moves are sitting on your hands while opportunities pass you by in 3/4 time!  Laugh Laugh

Well, I am definately going over for this exhibition, the ferry is booked and it looks likely we'll be there on May 2nd.  Grin

Can anyone tell me if we are able to buy tickets on the door or whether we have to buy them before on the internet etc. I have checked the Jaarbeurs website but cannot get it to work properly on my computer!

Also, does anyone know if there will be stands where you can buy Playmobil retired items etc or whether it will only be the official shop with the current assortment....I ask only so I can decide how much money to bring as I don't want to be carrying too much or too little cash!! Crazy

Cannot wait to see all the displays of Playmo past and present, and I might try to talk them into letting me have a 5ft Playmo person
too. Love

Claire  Hello

Hello Claire

The event is organised by Playmobil itself , uptil now there will be no second hand playmo for sale . Only new . The question to have a secondhand fair was propposed ,but regarding how the hall is divided I guess there will be none

I suggest you get tickets online , as I ment to understand , they seem to have a limitted amount of tickets

Have a safe trip
