4246 - Tomb raider hide-out
« on: September 09, 2008, 13:57:40 »
Today I've received the egyptian sets and I thought you might be interested in seeing some pictures of the sets. At the moment I can only show you the 4246, as I haven't had the time to take pictures of all the sets.

I think the pictures speak for themselves, but I want to say that the house is made out of one "ground piece" and it can't be connected to earlier Playmobil building systems.

This is the last picture from this set.

I must say that I really like the new egyptian figures and sets  They are detailed and include many new weapons and accessories.

Will the house hold together if it's not attached to the base?

I'm slightly disappointed that once again they've attached a building to a base, it seems to make it bigger and costlier yet less adaptable to different uses.

I'll definitely be buying one, but depending on how that works it might be only one.

Thanks for the pictures!  It really is a lovely set.  I was kind of on the fence about this one, but I think your pictures have convinced me to get it :D

Yes, and the walls aren't attached to the house so it is possible as a standalone.

(& Can you put lots of them, side by side? 8} )

Thx for the review, Lars. It's a great set! :yup:

My sentiments exactly.
