I think the kitchen set is more comprehensive in the stuff provided than the previous one - I think all the room sets have more small accessories. The doors on the bedroom wardrobe look to be reflective - probably decals....I hope they have an add-on set for the house fencing - it looks far more like typical fencing here than anything they've produced previously.

I thought the same about the accessories, Tim.  I think that the clear "glass" lids for some of the kitchen pans are new.

The previous wardrobe had stick-on reflective sheet.

The new fencing is interesting, somewhere for the rubbish bins as well as garden tools etc.

So ... I would like to "Skyjack" this thread for just a moment to share our "dreams" with everyone ... 

The new Playmobil seaplane looks a lot like the old US Navy Grumman Goose from the 1940s.

I can just imagine how cool these new Playmobil seaplanes would look with a "vintage" paint job!

Where should I get the money for these pieces ... and where should I store all of them ... 

They are absolutely fantastic. The Police car exactly how I would like have expected it. The motorbike in the same design. The uniforms with great variations. The police station quite modern. And did I see there diagonal wall pieces? These would be great for building our house in Playmobil size (we have several walls with 45 degrees e.g. at the dining room oriel).

The new modern living theme is wonderful. All these little new accessories, like the aquarium and a new flat LCD/plasma TV ...

I have been trying to find a prototype photo for a police seaplane but haven't yet. If you Google it the first 20 or so listings are for the LEGO police seaplane. 

I did however find a cool webnsite on the subject http://www.policeaviationnews.com
Their magazine is available free in pdf format on the site. In the Conference Special issue there is a cool photo of a Merseyside Fire & Rescue jet-ski. Maybe Playmo will do one for the next Fire series release?
