My new custom:

French regulars instead of confederate soldiers and with new ammo box  :D

Thank you  ;D
I'm quite happy, historically the ammo boxes were worn on the right or frontally (belly cartridge boxes) but I have not found a way to avoid the purse/ammo box's tendency to rise...to limit this I put over it the canteen shoulder belt.
The weight of the canteen tends to limit the tendency to the ammo box to lift.

Drives me nuts when things seem to take a life of their own.  8}

Wonderful customs and a great use of Confederate figures.

Great customs and lovely photos!
At that moment the ship suddenly stopped rocking and swaying, the engine pitch settled down to a gentle hum. 'Hey Ford.' said Zaphod, 'that sounds good. Have you worked out the controls on this boat?' 'No,' said Ford, 'I just stopped fiddling with them.' (With thanks to Douglas Adams)
