The head is useless with the hole, so..

Can archers wear a monocle whilst working? Or do they close one eye whilst aiming?

Nice fix, cheng. I bet it is fiddly to get that parrot perch in place! I wonder if there is a brown part which could restore the eye to normality?
At that moment the ship suddenly stopped rocking and swaying, the engine pitch settled down to a gentle hum. 'Hey Ford.' said Zaphod, 'that sounds good. Have you worked out the controls on this boat?' 'No,' said Ford, 'I just stopped fiddling with them.' (With thanks to Douglas Adams)

We see those modern day competition marksmen use an eye patch so they dont have to forcibly shut one eye while aiming but historically, if I were selecting from soldiers to train as archers, I wouldnt want anyone who's permanently blind in one eye  :P
(I'm neither a marksman nor have any military knowledge....just guessing ;D)

you're right, I had to use a pair of forceps and another blunt tool to position and push the parrot stand from inside the very cramped empty head :lol:

even if I were to use a short pieces of brown sprue, it wouldn't match the other printed 'cartoonish' eye  :hmm: ::) 8}

were you asking serious questions or in jest?  :lol: :lol: :lol:

I had forgotten the other eye is printed on, cheng (and I didn't look properly at your picture, either)! It was a serious suggestion to use brown plastic like in the normal molded eyes, but not relevant after all!
