I wanted this set mainly because of the compact kitchen, which I thought would be really useful in small houses.

The fridge door is a sticker, and so is the cooker/stove top (hidden behind the flowers on that photo, but visible in a later photograph). If I myself had to put those stickers on, I'm sure I'd never succeed! Thankfully, I had Mr Raven to help....
The sitting area provides a nice backdrop for photographs.

There is another sticker for the TV (on the right), but I decided not to use that, because I wanted a 'switched off' TV.
There are two identical baseplates for the house, which means that one of them ends up with a hole showing at the front - but there is a little hedge to cover that hole with.

I already had two of those little hedges in a container labelled 'Horse Jumps' - and I'd never thought of using them as decorative hedges before!

If one wants to pack away everything into the house, one first needs to remove the furniture and baseplates.

I believed that I was doing a good job in packing everything away.

But the house would not close!

It seems that one needs to pack away the furniture and klickies on the 'window' side.

And then lay the baseplates on top. It's still a bit tricky to close the house - I think that a child may need an adult's help to do this.

I would also be a little bit worried about ruining the window. This decorative part is a piece a cardboard held in place by a nice blue light. It seems very sturdy, but if it endlessly rubbed by pieces of plastic furniture, I think that it could become damaged.

Once closed, however, the vacation house looks rather nice. It would make a nice background item in a back garden/yard scene - a tea house or summer house, maybe.

I did change the lights, though. I thought the black lights were a bit too dark for the white and yellow and red colours.

In photos above, I had the 'window side' on the left. But the house can be opened up on either side, so the window can also be on the right side, if one prefers.

As a set for a child; I think that a few additions may be needed. There is probably a limit to the number of times a child wants two adults to fry eggs or drink coffee or wine. Maybe a car to go somewhere in; or bikes to ride; or a shop or a playpark or a zoo to go to?
The sofa converts into a bed for the two adults:

But there is space enough to add a similar bed for a child.

Or any child's bed.

The kitchen area, too, has space to add a couple of things. Here I added some kitchen waste bins and a washing machine - plus the family dog and its water bowl.

It's a cool little set. Especially with a few bits and pieces added to it.
