It's PlaymoFriends' first birthday! Party

To celebrate, we are holding a community-wide photo event using "Friendship" as the theme, from today until Sunday November 26th, and YOU can be a part of it! Cheesy

EVERY person who provides a photograph will receive a small Playmobil gift as a sign of appreciation and a reward for taking the time to share their pictures with the other members! Gift

The gift will be a unique item which can not be obtained anywhere else except via our forum. It is not available through your local Playmobil retailer, nor by mail order anywhere in the world!  Cool

You can use any Playmobil figures or accessories (custom/regular), in any setting that you would like, to help convey the theme of Friendship in your photo. If you wish, you may even post more than one photo, but only one birthday gift will be given to each contributing person due to the increased cost of purchasing and shipping multiple items. Wink

There are no strict rules or regulations as such; we only ask that the photo you submit is all your own work and has not been previously posted in another topic at PlaymoFriends, or on another Playmobil forum or Web site. This way, any photo you post here will be like a surprise present for everyone else to unwrap! Cheesy

We would like to stress that this is not a competition. The gifts given to each member will be of equal value and will not be governed by the style or quality of photo(s) they have submitted. There will be no single photo selected for special recognition. It's all just for fun! Agree

The birthday gifts will all be posted out in the week beginning Monday 27th November, so that everyone will hopefully receive their item around the same time. Smiley

Please be aware that we will not be able to accept any photos after November 26th, so in order to avoid disappointment you must post your photo by this date. I am sending out a bulk newsletter about this event to ALL fully registered members, so there will be no chance for anyone to miss out on the opportunity to take part. Wink

Now.... it's time to get this party started! Grin

Well, here is my contribution, featuring some of my customs Smiley . It is a rather simple setting, but then again friendship can often be found in small and simple things. In this case: listening with your friends to your favourite music on the radio and everyone is enjoying it!

This is my humble gift. It's not all that and it's even simple...

But for me friendship is to divide and share. And in a way, that is what we all do here on this forum. We share information, photos, stories, news, good times and more!  Smiley We share our hobby with our good friends  Cheesy

I think a new Roman set illustrates this. You all know about St. Martin, who shared his robe with a poor beggar. Sharing must be the best way to start a new friendship. For over a year, this site has been a living proof of that!  Agree

 Hello Hello and Happy Birthday Playmofriends!
I am not a very active member and visitor these days, but PLAYMOBIL and all the Playmo-friends I have made through out all these years are still a vivid part of my life. To share with you something very special relating friendship and even the deepest form of it called "love"... I decided to show you how much PLAYMOBIL is still connected to my life with my wife and new born son Corvin (born 1st November 2006, so it's also his Birthday-Party here...!!). Big hugs to all of those who share the smile of PLAYMOBIL with another person...! Playmoliver www.playfans.com (old but true...)

Regarding the pictures: The blacksmith is hammering our wedding ring and my wife's favourite unicorn is holding it... all my pirate ships are guarding our rooms, dragons and airplanes fly above our windows and the tower of might (in a very small version, +1m is missing) is towering in a corner...

... I managed to arrange a small village with all my customized figures (harry potter characters, snow white & 7 dwarfs , lord of the ring characters, ect.) out of reach for kids - just in case we have some at home... and a real pirate is guarding our front-door!
