Is steck compatible?
« on: April 02, 2010, 20:38:01 »
Hi,
I have just gone mad and bought a load of castle steck pieces on ebay in hope of expanding and customising my 3666 and realised that it looked different and from looking at playmDB found out that it is old style steck, so my question is would I be able to use this to make my 3666 bigger or will it not work (as you can tell I am not primarily a medieval collector) :-[

The earlier steck castles have very little differences from the more recent ones. But yes, overall they are compatible.
A major diffenrence is the shape of the battlements. In earlier versions they are thiner whille in 3666 castles they are thicker.

I didn't get to sleep until 1:30 this morning due to lying there planning my castle in my head and it is now planned to every last toast filler so it should be a fun build, although I will now need to buy a few more steck parts ::)

Your parents are very kind - I know that when I move out they'll want every last bit gone as my Mum can't stand Playmobil, and the only Playmobil she likes (Victorian) I don't really collect due to lack of space ;D

I suggest you buy your Mum some Victorian Playmobil and get her on your side.

I tried to buy her a mansion for Mother's day, but she just moaned and said that it would just sit there and gather dust which is true ::)
