I'm having trouble figuring out this problem. On the back of the 3166 box, it says that the dog leash looks like this:http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-20-2360 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-20-2360)
But, I can't seem to find that leash. The only spare leash I have is this one:http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-88-0662 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-88-0662)
(The leash I'm talking about is the one in the second link, right image.)
So, anyways, has anybody else have this problem? :)

they must have stopped making the first one for some reason and replaced it for the other one. That's why it has the same part number.... just a guess. :-\

Yeah, probably what Gaston said. Did you just got this set, bought it second hand off ebay or somewhere else? Or is this a sealed set that you just opened?
-
There was a thread about this a while ago. Sets seem to vary with what style they contain, but I can't remember what the details were.
Damo :)

I got that first leash in an ebay lot... I use it for the villagers to carry newly caught fish over their shoulder... it is a most useful part. but the other one work a LOT better as a dog leash. ;)

I believe the design of the dog was altered so that the original lead which fixed over a stud on the dogs neck could no longer be used.

About darn time too - the thing was horrid.

They need to still have the original one also, to utilize the eyelet on the dogs neck. The superceded rubber leash doesn't work well with it.

Yeah the whole German Shepherd and leashes thing is a mess. They released 2 different parts using the same number. You just need the right leash for your type of dog. If it has the post through it's neck you need the first type,

Wow, thanks for all your help!

I actually got this set a year or two ago. It was sealed - I got it from a local toy shop.
I had been struggling for a while with that problem, so I brought it to you guys - clearly that was the right decision. ;)

Yes, I know! Having a stud fixed into your neck just for a leash doesn't look comfortable! :)

And yet some people have some studs for beauty. (not my thing though) the Pm dog without is more realistic.

If it's Playmobil animals, then Tiermann and animobil.info have the answer. :)
