Title: Geobra not seeing the obvious??
Post by: Heronimus on November 28, 2011, 15:00:36
The angel with Santa has finally arrived. Yes...I am talking about this set.

Unlike all other sets, which are contained in the paper boxes, these blisters allow us to view clearly what exactly are inside. I have spotted 60% of the angels in the blisters on shelves have their EYES BROKEN!!!!! I had that with my kids figures from other sets and always thought that is just my bad luck. But this time with the blisters allowing me to eye literally in it, it is just super saddening!!!! And no way playmobil can deny that is only an individual issue.

sometimes childrens eyes and mouth are coming out of the face as they are another plastick part that fits on the head and are not painted.  ;) i think he means that  :uhoh: :uhoh:

One of them....and their eyes often turn into eclipse mode....not a full circle :hmm:

Not promoting the ebay auction...just that this is a good example

Notice her left eye??

At least your devotion could be witnessed.......which is factual

But I am intrigued to know people are not seeing the clipped eyes problem.

In the links you posted they look more like slightly overfilled eyes than "clipped" or underfilled ones... an underfilled eye... which does happen very rarely... would leave an empty socket  :o ... the overfilled eye problem can be fixed with a fingernail.. just lightly pull away the excess, because the head is a firmer plastic, you won't shouldn't damage the plastic doing this.  ;D

I have noticed this overfilling though... now that I see exactly what you were referencing.

-This is caused by the softer plastic used to mold the children's hairpiece... which is a single piece connected to their eyes and mouth that fills the spaces in their head.

-In adult figures the eyes and mouth are formed by the same hard plastic that fills the rest of the head, just in a different color, so it sets up evenly... most of the time anyway.

This is classic Geobra production line mistake...

If you visit playkingdoms http://www.playkingdoms.com/pk/default.asp => museum => very special klickies you'll see what I mean. Tahra, I believe you may have something to comment here?  :)

The first one really freaked me out...... :'( :'( :'( :'(

But I would say the clipped eye kids are not special at all...given what I have observed, from the santa blister, kids from blue boxes and even their catalogue.  :P
