Superb, cheng, quite superb, and I especially like the way you've posed the chimp.
-
in old Malaya(as in the other nearby colonies), the british started up many huge plantation companies (like sime darby, the largest oil palm grower in the world today, Harrisons & Crosfield etc etc and always run by an English 'madman' who's a strict no-nonsense BUT ethical boss...they run around, hands-on wearing these pith hats clearing dense tropical forests..but defiinitely never shirtless :P or he'll be a favourite with the mosquitoes altho they did wear shorts and short sleeves, perhaps used to bites and leaches

thanks dear Gordon!
it was a bit tricky to pose the half-nervous half-curious chimp since my glass shelf slopes forwards...tumbled into my sink several times
So, you're not over your Speedo-dad frenzy, yet?...
Arnaud, I forgot to add that 'speedo dad' is just a prelude to my serious adding of half naked men to many of my shelf/themes...I am not too sure the new tattooed pirate's torsos are what I need :P and I'm still very reluctant to wipe PM prints

There are many short stories about them (e.g. by Somerset Maughan) and their life in the Malay States as Malayasia was called before independence.

I like the speedo-dad series and I think a lot of them are funny too. :)
I wonder if there will be a series with speedo-dad with his speedo and bare legs! Fireman in speedo, policeman in speedo, viking in speedo etc.
oke I must admit its a little corny.

I agree it sounds refreshing...maybe somebody can carry on speedo dad II ....anyone has a red speedo?
the only time I could use his legs for my warring themes was as the japanese horse-thief...otherwise, his legs are just lying in my spare boxes...speedo dad was an accident (was it Tahra who named him so? sorry if I remembered incorrectly.) I'm still waiting for bare torsos to use on my war-themes...meanwhile having fun with this temporary fix on different legs ;)

We will I guess, and also from your warriors with bare torso! Maybe a custom with a bare torso and a bald head like the warrior from the movie troy. See second last picture in this link (http://theblogthattimeforgot.blogspot.com/2010/01/what-it-would-take-to-get-me-to-watch.html)

WOW!! what a great idea conniefrere!!
I must start to think how....speedo dad's muscles look too wimpy for this warrior...those arms... :P

cheng,
Another great version of speedodad! Hard to say which one is more intelligent....speedodad or the chimp?
The tropical sun and bugs definitely will kill speedodad first, so it seems a moot question as to who is smarter.
Please keep up the great progress with speedodad, pgal
