Ah, and I forgot to say - love the rocks in the water. We have a big round rock that MUST be in all the scenes.... ;)

Sad to see the Diorama Section is now a SubBoard...
-
(http://i1096.photobucket.com/albums/g334/Skywalker1170/PMR_10.jpg)
-
Wow that looks great!
-
Those are aquarium rocks, aren't they? Great pics! Love how the water reflects everything so well. Lovely pics.
What's the problem with it being a sub board? ??? For the record, my greatest contributions will fall under dioramas, and I don't see it being a problem.
-
Beautiful! (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v321/luwerner/gif/notworthy.gif)
Could you show us a pic from afar, showing how the whole setup for the diorama looks?
-
Lordy - that is just excellent! More please! ;D
-
Just breathtaking! :**:
-
I love it.
Please show us how you made this setup.
:wow: :wow: :wow: :wow: :wow: :wow: :wow:

-
So so soooooo lovely and great!!!! Keep them coming Skywalker!!!!
-
Elric : thank you !
bonnie : thank you ! yes - those are aquarium rocks. over the summer i wasn´t here that often. after coming back i thought that the diorama section was kind of hidden. i think that the smaller or bigger dioramas are some of the most visual / exciting pics that you may look in net and these pics deserve a own section that is seen directly when you come to the forum. just my personal opinion.
Lindama : thanx a lot !
stadswache : thank you !
Playmoholics : :**:
PrimusPilus : thank you !
Wolf : Thanx sir !
i will make some pics where you can see the set up... ;)

Amazing pics and an awesome set up their Skywalker. Really great!! :)9
-
the blue femal pirate
Thank you for the extra pics!!!
-
Beautiful!!!!!! I'm almost sad to see the "making of" pics, lol, because it looks so "real" I don't want to lose the magic! But seeing the making of pic just goes to show how much magic can be derived from something practical. Thank you so much for your diorama! I Love it!
I was curious, what made you decide to give the water a black bottom (vs. stereotypical playmobil blue water)? I've seen eerie ports/waterways like that where it was dark water with strange things inside that could not easily be discerned. Also reminds me of Italian waterways. Gives it a sort of different feel than other water scenes. Very interesting and captivating as well!
And I'm curious about the odd fishing pole.... is it broken? or it's really meant to bend at the middle?
I too like your blue piratess. I was lucky enough to get an old ship with that same clicky at the helm, complete with her girly pirate hat, hehehe. Love it!
Thanks again for your diorama!
-
Magnificient diorama. Beautifully done with the real water. :hatoff:
-
Oh, wow! This is beautiful, Skywalker!
-
Thank You everybody !
BlackPearl : you are right - it´s better not to show everything - i think the first people who asked had a look and that´s fine.
-
Very beautifull piccies!! :captain:

It looks sooo beautiful.
story telling photograph's must bee hard because Jou can't make all the angels with the camera.
of do you have a you little camera.
how big is the complete setup?
-
bonnie: i will send you the pic. okay ?
stadswache: thanx ! i use a canon 1000D with standard lense ( 18-55mm ) . i have a film camera but this is for real filming and this would be useless for stopmotion...
you are right with the storytelling but this would be to time consuming - i have the highest respect for people like vauban who are able to produce such quality stories
:)
-
REAL WATER!!!!!!!
So you built all this on top of your fishpond? 8} 8}
Amazing! Keep up the hard work!
Best,
Arnaud
-
Thanx Arnaud.
No it´s a complete Diorama with own bassin :)
-
bonnie: i will send you the pic. okay ?

I love it to bits, it's really wonderful I just love to look at your dioramas. So very inspiring. I'm trying to set a small one up myself having seen what you've done, but it's nothing like as good.
I'm really looking forward to more pics. Thanks very much for sharing.

-
Thank you all very much !!!
Karim : if you like send me your email adress so i can send you the pics in larger scale ( screensaver update ;) )
-
This diorama is simply amazing, Skywalker! :o The background, colorful buildings, and the klickies you've created are gorgeous, but the addition of REAL water is spectacular! :wow: :wow: :wow:
-
Excellent! This is really impressive. :)
-
I can see this is a story going on from the other diorama with a redcoat harbour.
The pirate in the rowboat was captured and is now forced to catch fish for everyone in Port Saint Jack.
-
I missed this maginificent work of art some how! Very realistic & well done! The details are beautiful!
-
Thank you ! :)
