the one with the horns and goatlegs we'd call a "sater" in Dutch I think, I should check and look for the translation

edit: it couldn't be simpler; apparantly "sater" translates as "satyr" in English!
Btw, according to some parts of Greek mythology, he is often depicted with an erected.... :-[

I could show the connection... but there isn't really one  ;) ... the torso is turned backwards with a trimmed skeleton inside... then that is glue-gunned onto the horse body... I didn't trim the horse head so the man torso doesn't move :)

Pan, in Greek mythology, is the god of the wild, shepherds and flocks, nature, of mountain wilds, hunting and rustic music, as well as the companion of the nymphs  ;) . His name originates within the Greek language, from the word πάειν (paein), meaning "to pasture." He has the hindquarters, legs, and horns of a goat, in the same manner as a faun or satyr. With his homeland in rustic Arcadia, he is recognized as the god of fields, groves, and wooded glens; because of this, Pan is connected to fertility and the season of spring (thus the erected...) . The ancient Greeks also considered Pan to be the god of theatrical criticism. So a satyr, or a faun, is not Pan... but Pan, is

As for the centaurs, the ancient Greeks believed to be an actual race of people living in central Greece.

Excellent customs Baron!

WANT WANT WANT!

I've been gawking at playmocentaurs since I saw the first one one..

WHY can't they make centaurs? They made those ridiculous rabbits... (of course, not much trouble there)

honestly I think the speedo-dad opens a lot of these capabilities for playmobil.. as they will be able to adapt anything to fit into the clicking skeleton he has as opposed to being limited by the classic skeleton... I'd look for an actual playmo centaur by 2013-14  ;)
