The motorcycle department still has quite a lot of the old bikes

but there are also more recent ones and some new ones...

But their pride is the striped bike and the black bike!!!

Very nice force, Panos! I especially love the mounted police. Makes me think of the touristy areas in New Orleans. I hope chief Hurst was pleased with what he saw!

That's a cool set. The four wheeler is one of those vehicles you pull backwards and it takes off going forwards. It goes kind of far, too.

Very nice.. Mine are all so different from each other that it's hard to make a "force" out of them...

Well the four patrol cars on the right hand side are differently coloured... and I have a few officers with black suits that I prefer to use them as lieutanants or captains. one has a blue hood, one as a black hood and two have white hoods... I have a couple stil in their boxes but there are already too many to set up a scene  ;D

Yep, you definitively don't know the world small.
 :P

That looks terrific! I specially liked the roll cage you added to the SWAT ATV. Did you use the one that comes with the robber's amphibious vehicle? I would love to get that part for my ATV .

What's small?  ???  ;D ;D ;D ;D Whats the point of having a collection and keeping it small  ???

Nope, I ordered the parts from DS  ;)

But is it the same part? Since I don't have access to DS, maybe I could cannibalize a #4449 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=4449) for the roll cage.

Oh yeah its the exact same part!! Very useful! I really wonder why they left the SWAT ATV ''cageless''  ???

All the quad bikes are worth buying for racing.  They set off so slowly and then...whoosh!  And they go a good distance, a full corridor's length in the hotel we stay at in Malta where I bought the first quad bike.

A very comprehensive and well-structured police force, Panos.  Thanks for showing us the chief's review.

My favourite amongst your force is that striped police motorcycle.  It reminds me of the striping used by the Netherlands emergency services:

Thank you Gordon! Actually the latest quad bike from 4834 - Ranger with Quad Bike and Trailer (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=4834) does not have a racing mechanism  :( but you can open its comparment and install one..

Really (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v321/luwerner/gif/hmm-1.gif)?
That's news to me. However, I'm glad, I really don't care about the pull-and-go feature.

Well, all te ATVs come from the same mould, so this rollbar fits all of them  ;)

That's interesting.  I suppose it was motor or trailer when it came to cost and price.

I was referring to the pull-and-go engine of the quad bikes.

A great force, thanks for posting them. It's amazing how much difference switching from hat to helmet makes in the Mounted patrol. With the helmet all of a sudden it looks much more like reality, something I hadn't noticed before.

:yup:
Couldn't agree more. The problem is that you need the helmets. And how do you get helmets? "Just" order them from DS.

Thank you Tim. I knew the moment I saw those helmets they would be perfect for a mounted police...

Luiano, unfortunately yes...
